I wouldn't be too sure on that one. Of course someone with a bit more savvy would have read my post which referred to them choosing the only game with empty seats to start their coverage and then checked the other fixtures before mentioning Sunderland, who are away at Man City on the opening day.
Lighten up mate, it was only a joke. I actually think as far as support goes yours was always pretty decent, I imagine it will something special as defending champions.
Etihad Stadium capacity 55,097. Man City's average crowd for 2015/2016 54,041. What is your definition of plenty? Still not able to acknowledge my original post was correct?
Similar to when Man United announced a sell out and there was only 55,000 there then, surely no other club would be cynical enough to do that.
You're wrong anyway, but would you like to quantify your "loads of empty seats" allegation? First game of the season against the League Champions I will be surprised if we're not far off capacity.
I'm wrong? Which other games on the opening weekend to you think will have empty seats? So you anticipate a late rush if season tickets "flying out of the KCOM"? Or a large pay on the day turnout? How much will tickets for the game be for non members BTW?
We include those who have paid in our attendance figures but who didn't turn up. As to Hull FC. Is there no limit to your lack of knowledge? Or inability to acknowledge you got it wrong regarding my original post?
Not so sure with it being on telly, and the fact that it is seemingly impossible to find out how much match tickets are going to be, let alone the hassle of actually trying to purchase one.
We won't have many empty seats at home games this season, because City will continue their policy of flogging spare seats on the secondary markets. The fairer point is not about whether the seats will be filled, but who will be filling them.
So ,I am wrong but you don't now if there will be any other games with empty seats? Logic not your strong point?
Man City set a record attendance of 54,963 against Leicester in February and there were empty seats everywhere.
There empty seats were scattered about and not in large blocks like ours could be. At least someone will have paid for their empty seats but not turned up whereas our empty seats will be merely empty seats.
