Good to see a player standing by a club who stood by him. Shame in our case cos he would have been excellent next to Vardy.
Oh fair enough then. The story I read though was that Watford just rejected the bid. If it was me if have accepted and allowed him to get tempted.
He's basically done the exact same thing Vardy did to Arsenal but to us, you can't blame him really, we'd have wanted him for that integrity but it's that which has led him to stay at Watford- they're stuck by him in the same way we did with Vardy and they both owe their respective clubs.

I think he will be signed by another Championship club ... Nikola Kalinic is far more interesting and, for me, a more plausible target ... he's a more mobile version of Leo ... and looked very good in an excellent Croatian team ...

... not necessarily in place of anyone ... but to give options ... we got through last season with a side virtually unchanged (once first team established) due to no distractions like Europe and the Cups ... this season will be a lot different and we may need to adapt our style when in Europe etc ...also I wouldn't be surprised to see Matty James sent out on loan to prove his fitness etc ...
