That's always been the case, it was clearly stated in the membership scheme details... Families: The Family Stand Guarantee will ensure that no family will have to pay more than last year. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/tickets/season-memberships/index.aspx#8WHG5ZezQoi2wUul.99
#livingadoublelife Question, does that apply irrespective of what stand a family is in? And then the obvious comments: On the one hand, ok that's fair enough, at least so long as it lasts (putting aside the price increases of the past few years of course). On the other hand: - what if you are a supporter who wants to start taking your kids, or are a new supporter with a family, or someone who has moved back to the area, or are a lapsed supporter who is now in a position to start attending again (or other such reason)? The family next to you enjoys the price guarantee, while you have to pay full price for your kids (or seniors)? - what if you are a senior, or a child, or a group of teens attending without a family? No, sorry, it's just ****ing wrong. And divisive. My blood boils each time I think or post about it (I know, I shouldn't let it, but it just does). And it's so unnecessary to piss people about and piss people off like this. FFS, the likes of Huddersfield and Bradford showing the way, in spite of them having only a fraction of the riches our club once again receives.
I was a season pass holder with my girlfriend until we had a baby when we stopped going to games for the obvious reasons. now my daughter is 3, we have all got passes for next season. Im not happy with the fact my daughters ticket has actually cost more then mine as we have had to pay an application fee for her pass. But i wouldn't stop going to city for the fact of whose in charge. At the end of the day i go to the matches to live the experience of the games and support the team that is on the pitch. As long as we have a club to support then I will be happy as we very nearly didn't have on eat all back in 2010. Im not a pro Allam supporter either before people get the wrong impression. I just want my daughter to grow up loving football the way i do.
Good point, but what about the people that want their children to grow up doing the same, but now can't afford it?
Evil Ehab will next be announcing that away fans can have a bigger allocation of tickets. 18000 Hull City fans / plastics and 7000 away fans(if able).
Any idea when the Premier League will make a decision on whether the club will be allowed start the season with no concessions available? Seems to be dragging on a bit and the club will need time to put new plans in place. Sorry if I've missed it.
When does £30 is plenty start then ? Not this season by all accounts. Crystal Palace fans having to pay £45 for a ticket @ Arsenal in August.
It does start this season and Palace don't play at Arsenal until Dec 31st, tickets won't be on sale for months.
I have received two phone calls in the last couple of weeks asking why I haven't renewed when I actually have renewed !. Booze up and breweries spring to mind .
Just had my call. Explained politely why I have not renewed. The girl seemed sympathetic and said all calls recorded so my comments would be picked up and heard.... can't quite see it somehow! She said she had some "great seats" available for me if I wanted to sign up today but I declined.
