Which witch would you prefer? Are they better or worse than Cameron?

It's also an opportunity for lively debate. But ever since Jeremy Corbyn was declared leader of Her Majesty's Opposition, one issue has been dominating otherwise congenial discussion: do Jews in Britain have a future in this country?

It may sound like a dramatic question to pose over a convivial plate of roast chicken. But this isn't the narrative of a collective persecution complex. Indeed, it's precisely because of our history that Jewish antennae are twitching so frantically.

Even before Mr Corbyn's victory was confirmed, a poll of British Jewsfound 67 per cent were concerned about his election as Labour leader. Now the member for Islington North has his party's mandate and details continue to emerge about his ideology, this sense of foreboding has only deepened.

After all, here stands a man who has been connected to Holocaust denier Paul Eisen, and who exhorts us to be "friends" with terror organisations Hezbollah and Hamas.

And what of Mr Corbyn's support for boycotting and delegitimsing the state of Israel? A view which – even if the Labour leader cannot see it – helps fuel anti-Semitism, since unreconstructed protest groups seamlessly conflate anti-Zionism with antipathy towards world Jewry.

But look no further than David Mencer, a former director of Labour Friends of Israel, who has just left the party after 20 years as a result of Corbyn's election. As he says: "When I listen to Corbyn speak on almost any issue, I get the feeling this is a man who doesn’t like my community."

Leadsome all day long. It has to be somebody who believes in our future away from the EU.

I think May felt the same but she wanted to line up behind Cameron for career reasons.

Agreed, she is my first choice, Fox would be second.

Theresa May will walk it though <doh>

The remain voters should be delighted with this.

Teresa May believes in it as well and would get us a better deal.

Leadsome's contribution to the campaign can be summed up as "I'm a mother and a grandmother" before smiling vacantly. It would be like sending your local librarian to negotiate the exit.

That would suit me as her views on the EU are probably similar to mine ie we should have stayed in to oversee a sensible reform of the EU and failing that an amicable exit.

Obviously she will now have to go to the table to try and get a decent deal from a snubbed former ally but such is the position the referendum had put the government/country in.

Agreed. She wanted a more gradual/amicable exit which would have meant much less disruption.

I think May will win, but she was an Inner of sorts, but she does offer the experience over Leadsome

So we'll end up with a Remain PM who agreed with the plan to either reform or exit the EU but who now has less chance of getting the UK a good deal as we've pissed the rest of Europe off.

    Congratulations on your "victory" ladies!

Read her manifesto on being the PM.

A Brexit SoS run by an outer, so thats a win for Brexit, an exit in December (article 50) a win for Brexit.
So tel us about not getting a good deal, as no PM can afford to **** it up.

It all depends on whether the EU believe in the Custard theory that the British can demand and will be given everything they ask for. It seems unlikely.

Pete's already bottled a bet on this. Are you up for filling his tiny shoes?

I dont expect the UK to get 100%, but one thing we will get is no freedom of movement.

Why is everybody seriously worried about how the EU might treat us? We aren't their ****ing bitch <doh>

What about the things they need from us? Fishing anybody..

If we can get our trade going with countries such as N Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, China, India, Japan, Brazil. We'll be fine and the envy of Europe.

It's not all about them and I'm sick of more scaremongering about it. Like Farage stated, no deal with them is better than the ****e we have at the moment.

Logic suggests we could have negotiated a better deal had we not snubbed the EU. That's the thing I think we're going to regret and suffer from. But it is what is and there is now a Stexit strategy in action!

They wouldn't have budged on free movement of people. We couldn't have possibly got the deal that the majority of the UK wanted.

    Now we can <ok>

Except it's not which is why even he has admitted the NHS claim was a lie, Carney has said it's going to be rough, interest rates will be cut to boost household spending, the Chancellor has said taxes will rise and public spending will be cut.

Basically we will be poorer if we don't have a trade deal with the EU.
