We've just returned home from a three day break in Scotland, we joined the M6 at Carlisle to travel south to Kendal a journey of about 50 minutes.

I couldn't believe the amount of drivers who sit in the centre lane for mile after mile for no apparent reason, it does my head in.

One old guy in particular driving his Merc Sat for over 30 miles oblivious of the traffic around him, I tried to get him to use the inside lane using gestures etc but without any luck.

These drivers boil my piss how do they get away with it, how do they manage to drive around without causing total chaos. The standard of driving on our roads is shocking. Moan over.

It's different for different parts of the country, I'd never use the inside lane of the M60 where I live, cos every 5 minutes there's more traffic joining so I stay in the middle, or the outside lane to avoid stopping and starting.

When there's no traffic though, there's nothing worse than having to move, from the inside lane, around some ****er in the middle lane, into the outside lane just to pass the stupid ****er, cos if I undertake him and he hits me, it'd be my fault.

There should be a motorway test, as well as driving test... some people on the motorway are just dangerous.

I usually find that those who complain about other drivers are the worst.

I just undertake them and hope that they think they are driving like a complete bell end (probably what they think of me for undertaking)

Some old twat the other day drove for two miles on the inside lane of the A69 with his right indicator on. I beeped him as I passed him and he didn't click <doh>

I saw him driving later in Hexham, he turned right and didn't indicate.

How are these old twats drill driving?

Best thing to do is get infront of anyone that is hogging the middle lane or driving too slow and then decelerate yourself, hopefully forcing them to slow down as well.

See how those twats like it :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Oh but you are wrong Comm.

**** like this is a massive issue on English roads. It forces good drivers to drive badly, or to lose temper.

It's enforceable by fine and points yet the police, who love cheap tickets, fail to enforce it.

I undertake, stare at the ****ers going by then slam in front of them and slow down.

Yes that makes me an idiot but maybe, just maybe they learn.

What's to see the frustration doesn't cause a safe driver to lose their cool and not be focused further down the road? It's a massive issue and one of my biggest gripes in life.

Road rage is far worse abroad mate, but also its far easier to pass a driving test abroad, as a general rule.

It's breaking the law effectively and if folk thing it's not ok to do that then why is it in the roads?

    Im just being synical.

To complain about such petty things is beyond me now.

Im used to manic driving. Ni lane control. Mopeds everyfuckingwhere.

    Ni harm for Victor.

We go to the caravan most weekends. On the way back on a Sunday we play a game which normally stops the two females in the car from bitching....."spot the motorbike, or caravan or horsebox or whatever". You guess at how many you will see......mega exciting, I know <laugh>

We've exhausted just about all possibilities now, even airplanes (there were 4), emergency vehicles and three-wheelers.

All apart from spot the roadkill, that is.

"There's a deed rabbit, there' a squashed pheasant,".....we are doing this one this Sunday. Can't wait <laugh>
