Well obviously. That's surely not the case being made here. I was contending with his highlighting Vardy as the ONE case.
how many of those played in the championship first ? None of the above went straight from league two to the premier league
No idea mate I just found it on Wikipedia where it says Bransholme. I'll just put Hull to avoid doubt.
No but being discussed was signing a striker from Bristol rovers and a midfielder/striker from Oxford
Roofe looks great value @ £3m. As a free agent and low wages Matt Taylor is hardly a bank breaker and worth a punt. He might be out of his depth but unless you give someone a try you shall never know. You keep posting the stupid stuff. The low risk financially makes it worth taking a chance. Very true, however he who Dares Wins. .......................... sometimes.
2008,,Chris Smalling non-league Maidstone to Premier league Fulham(yes I know he is a defender) and look at him now
The last time it was Eoin Doyle you kept banging on about, how did his big money move to Cardiff turn out? He signed for Preston this morning.
According to the Sky Sports regionals we're set to miss out on Steven Fletcher as Norwich have tabled a firm contract offer. A collective TFFT.
Apparently according to The Sun we're after Nigerian centre forward Aminu Umar for £3m from Turkish Super Lig side Osmanlispor
That was on here days ago, it was some African website that made the claim originally, just looks like his agent touting him around.
Such as? I've suggested players I think would improve the team, you've suggested Rickie Lambert and some gonk from League 2 because 'they're cheap'. Pssst, Tickler, we're a Premier League club now, we're getting a huge cheque for a lot of money, why don't we spend some of that on some players? Again, just because somebody is low cost doesn't mean they're worth the gamble. Ashley Flynn in non-league scored 78 goals in 49 appearances for AFC Emley last season, he wouldn't cost more than about £10k, but surely his price tag means he's worth the risk?? Get a grip and look at the signings being made by the other Premier League clubs, we have to match that standard. This isn't the season for ****ing about, we need to make sure we buy the quality to stay up and should not be looking any lower than the Championship for domestic signings.
