Skrtel isn't good enough for us, and its a move in the right direction for all concerned that he leaves. Thanks Martin, one or two decent seasons but ultimately not good enough
Good time for everyone to move on. Just Lucas left of the Rafa revolution and looks like could be on his way. Skrtel at 31 night only have 2/3 years left so should be trying to get a contract and play firsts team football before he retires, won't get that here. Hes es never been brilliant, but he had 1 or 2 decent seasons and stuck with us when he could have kicked up a fuss when not leaving for city. I moan about him a lot but he showed commitment to the cause and can't fault him for that.
Agree. He always seemed like he was one of the team and was pleased to be playing for Liverpool. I like Skrtel but the time is right for both parties for him to leave.
People really do seem to have short memories about Sturridge. Why is he being included in the lineup? He'll be out for over half the season on and off. Moura would be great. Two proper wingers then. Yes my view right now is out front 4 will be origi, firmino, mane and coutinho. I just see a need for a cm and lb as do many on here. From there there's enough about that any signing should be a first team improvement or potential like grujic. I don't want to see any filler buys
