Yes. But that always happens. Anything away from the norm, any sort of uncertainty, panics the markets to some extent. And what we did on Thursday was admittedly one hell of an 'extent'. <laugh>

Don't read too much into that, Whitey . . . . investment portfolios don't automatically follow suit (as long as they're in the right funds and they're 'actively managed') :emoticon-0105-wink:

Despite last week's turmoil, my stocks (mine and my clients' portfolios) have actually increased in value :emoticon-0100-smile

The end is (probably) not nigh :emoticon-0142-happy

That's more of a global representation though, never hurts to have a bit knocking around for harsh times...

Make friends with everybody with gold teeth down the pub, they'll never suspect a thing when you get them pissed as a fart, until they are unconscious... take out their gnashers... leave them in a bush with their pants round their ankles... don't say I never give you any good advice.

Are you talking about the legend who has just walked into the European parliament and stuck it up all of the MEP's?

He's just gone up ten fold in my estimation. One of the finest speeches I've ever witnessed in politics.

I love the start of the speech and when he taunts them all about never doing a days work in their lives <ok> He speaks with so much passion for Great Britain. What's not to like?

What's fairer in their eyes, obviously isn't fair in a lot of other peoples eyes. I don't think Labour have been fair to the British public with their immigration policies and I've stated that has already convinced me to never vote Labour, unless they seriously changed their softy soft approach.

    Don't know <laugh>

What I do know though, is that I really noticed a change in immigration numbers under Blair. That Labour government ruined us by opening the floodgates to the immigrants.

Arguing over who lets in the most immigrants, when we have no control over how many immigrants can come in, bit of a pointless debate if you ask me.

My stance, I hope we still get a lot of immigrants coming here, from all over the world, not just European nations... I just hope those that do come, are skilled workers, educated, can speak a decent level of English and well that'll do actually for now.

I believe immigration is vital to us, if moderated.

We certainly do not need any new taxi drivers.
