The way both teams have played at this tourney, Italy vs Germany should be game of the tournament.

    Expect a 0-0, then. <ok>

    I can't believe Sterling in.

Must admit I do have some sympathy for him. He certainly has talent but wasn't allowed the time to develop before the hype kicked in. Some young players can take it, some can't.

It is just possible that it could all be turned around in one game though. If not he is going to need to drop down a level or two and start again. I don't think he should even have been selected for the tournament myself.

Would love to have that rammed back down my throat tonight though.

Been at work so missed Italys first. How simple. never mind all this curled dipped chipped ****fest of a free kick. Leather the ****ing ****, make it bounce near the keeper and follow it in. they never hold em these days. ****ing simple.

I'd fine a City player a weeks wages every time they send a free kick over the bar.

Problem with that is 99% of those 'smashed' ones go straight at the wall and are utterly pointless. It's rare that the wall kindly moves out of the way.

Italy were brilliant really did a job on the Spanish, though the Spanish are looking an ageing team and passed their best. Looks as if Conte is going to liven things up in the EPL next season.

I remember watching the reserves just after Big Billy first signed for us, he blasted a free kick straight at the wall and the bloke he hit had to be subbed. <yikes>

This site seems to have acquired a mind of it's own recently. Sometimes it will embed clips, sometimes it won't and sometimes it will embed them if you just post a link.

Anyone remember the away game when Mckechnie, after conceding, laid out an opponent as he blasted the ball back to the center spot.

Think it was a London game.
