    movies watched recently

Central Intelligence 5/10 - another crap us attempt at comedy, the rock is ok in it, kevin hart??? dont think hes a funny actor at all tbh, stick to stand up son.

Popstar 6/10 - slightly better than the above film but not much, will forget ive seen it by monday.

x-men apocalypse 5/10 - another disappointing film from the xmen franchise - like all the others before it, meh!

Now you see me 2 - you will need to see the 1st one to get what the **** this film is about, id forgotten exactly what happened in the 1st one so spent a lot of the film thinking "wtfs going on ere?"

Warcraft - 7/10 - couldve been better, more aimed at kids imho, very tame in terms of violence

    Interesting. Not shocked by most.

Would be a little disappointed if now you see me 2 is that way. First was quite slick.

    Top gear
    So....

Intro. Ok not sure why Harris was referred to as Harris by evans in intro... jealousy.

Part I.. track cars. Clarkson did these with the 3 driving to the track in them.. first thoughts was we've been here before.it's not that bad. A new car done by evans himself. Must have been done recently. Concerted effort not to shout... wonder?Just a regular review. Nothing horrible, nothing original or very interesting.

Stig intro is apparently a big thing now.. it was ****e... joke were barely that... so that bit of desperation to find something g great.. well...

Evans car commentary on Stig lap dull too.. now I'm not being harsh it was really bad. The car itself was slow.

Part ii rolls Royce. Joey is up. The dawn.

In Ireland new car v and old one... the usual video and nice editing top gear does... this time joey slow drall works for this type of car. Normally he's actually dull on voice over but here it's fine.

They did the usual about a big expensive rolls. I mean what can you actually do that's new. Parked it. Drove it, showed the umbrella. I think it was a good piece for the show.

Evans has a go. The spirit of ecstacy is annoying him. Then he goes for the back of the car.. calls it a Rover 75.... why bother.... do we give a **** evans? **** sake the show was getting decent.

Part iii Harris in m3. Old cars better than new cars... Hardly original. This was theme of **** load of old top gear. Brings out m2. Harris speaks quickly. Feels like a lecture when he talks. Tyre smoke and waffle basically. I just realised who he reminds me of..... he's Crichton off red dwarf.. sound like him.. looks like him...... Oh and he rolls out audi rs3 to compare to m2. He put a silly set of wires on his head.... some stupid thing saying m2 is best.... he's completely blown his good work from last two weeks.. complete bullshit here. Crichton was just silly.

Part IV. Starving car time. 27mins into show. Paul hollywood and Jennifer Saunders. ****.

They are still doing the you intro the other.

I'd rather watch paint dry than these two... Jesus who cares. The bbc are using this to say the great British Bake off is staying.. again do I look like I give a toss.. this is cars.. nobody cares about cakes here.

They eventually got to the laps... they claim it's awful conditions. Worst ever conditions... Oh... the rally cross is totally flooded oh... how shocking it rains it Britain.. idiots. I saw guys in ****ing snow on this show... it wasn't even a bad day there.... that is ****ing embarrssing frankly.. guess what top gear... it rains in Britain. Your rallycross backfired... and you couldn't even make a good show of it.

    It's a **** show.

Anyway.... I'd say they got up to 50 or so. Winner is hollywood. Saunders goes round in 2:20 PR so. Total ****... and that's 40mins gone so 13 mins of show is this stupidity.

Part v. The fat bloke.. Reid. A jaguar. Some old bloke reads a bit about 55 years ago a guy drove from jag to Geneva to reveal e type so this is a drive of f type jag to a show...... this should have been first up in this show.... so etching actually interesting. It's about the test driver and a bit of history lesson about him. Making a bit of a big deal about driving across france... Oh you are tired... like we've seen this loads of times before. He did ok at the bit though... it's very hard making a plain drive exciting and they didn't really but they tried. Getting all worried at end... but.. well.. nah didn't really come off.. decent piece. Brought the old fella out at end which was nice.

Part vi. Back to the rolls. Few mins left in show.

Chris taking the old car side... the earlier ****e is meant to be the link to this but evans just annoyed me then and he's annoying me now. His own rolls...

The bit then gets going... they tool around ireland acting the Mick showing off their cars looking for people to decide which is best.. yawn... seriously... a bunch of folks all starstruck and really whatever... I mean the first bit on the rolls was actually good. What's this about... an Irish lad in a car sniffing wtf... clearly joey was cracking off too much. Evans arse apparently smells lovely... Jesus wept.

Oh irish girls dancing a jig...

    This is just dull...

Bad ending that. Just didn't have any get up and go.

Show over... 2 decent bits. Rest a snooze.

Viewers reached a record low last week (ever!)

Watched the first two, opener was crap and the second was dull and for what I've heard the rest have either been crap or dull or a mixture of both.
Frankly the format and the show is dead, without the humour its just a car show and people are bored with that hence why Clarksons Top Gear had moved away from it.

X-Men Apocalypse 8/10 best X film by miles really taking the content from the comics. It's not a great trilogy but as a single film it's superb, at last an X-Men film for the comic fans.

Just when I'd had enough of superhero films this and Deadpool have been very good.

I think the two "reviewers" are the worst part. It's as if they're trying to put a bit of Fifth Gear into it #crazy

I think the show just lacks charisma and chemistry. MLB and CE clearly aren't "best buds"

Yup... like last week Harris did a good bit with the Aston and looked like a racing driver which he has done a bit of.. he was awful tonight.

    Reid I don't like.

I feel the British press are bigging both up as both are "one of their own"

There's one or two moments every week and then it falls apart

I'd invite anyone to go to BBC player at about 30mins and spend the next 10 looking at the state of that rally cross.

The bit has imploded on itself spectacularly.

It was meant originally to be a bit of fun and silly and grew from there but Evans has utterly ruined it

I think Jamie will kill Cersei next season.

Didn't see the Arya twist. Great way to get her revenge.

I think this was BEST episode of GoT

    1. The timeline was a bit muddled for me but it didn't matter as it told the viewer in a perfect sequence. the events themselves had to be muddled a bit

    2. the music and tension was perfect.

    3. the high sparrow is Jeremy corbyn. it all makes sense now.

    4. Cercei's grand plan was epic. In one fell swoop she takes power. the fool boy kills himself and she's ah well... utterly brilliant scenes. So well done.

    5. The scene where jamie laughs in frey's face was brilliant. You can tell he's changing and not happy. We get a tidbit that mr tully was back in the dungeon so i presume he is going to be seen again... just that little hint.

    6. Wrapped up fat sam's storyline for a while.. that was done well enough.. he is annoying though. I could punch the ****er he's that much of a sack of twattish ****.. soft lad.

    7. Melisandre riding off into distance... that wa sinteresting how snow dealt with her. brilliant from sir davos too.

    8. Sansa is playing with littlefinger, the grand scheme is hopeless in his little head. It seems he's moved on form his dream about the north he shared with cercei.

    9. snow declared king of the north. the kid was hilarious. she's the hots for snow

    10. tidied up loose ends with blondie. she's finally actually on her way. rapid change here as she ditches the lover and makes tyrion the hand.

    11. dorn finally resurfaces. we see our friend bladie and the old tyrell crone then suddenly baldie is back on blondies ship.. deffo sequencing issues here. thats just not possible but who cares the dragons are coming.

So all the chess pieces got moved (obviously the hound is headed north)

finally we get to see arya make it to westeros in a hot second and get to work. scratch frey off the death list. she's now in full rampage mode and on her journey. Gruesome end for frey which everyone will love.

Wow ! Whew ! So lots of major characters and figures are dead, Marg, Loras, Sparrow and crew. Their deaths felt a bit underwhelming however. Not the Sparrow's though. Definitely not his. His own self-importance was the end of him. How ironic given his whole I'm a humble dude who has renounced superficial worldly things crap. That whole sequence, the music and cut scenes and structure, was very good and something different. Glad that cowardly annoying **** Lancel died an ignominious death and got to see what was happening without being able to stop it and felt the full force. It also leaves you asking how much were Marg and Tommen actually taken in by the Faith as presumably we'll never get a 'reveal' or hear them explain their motives now. What has Cersei got left though now, apart from her superficial crown? Everyone is coming for her. Dany is coming. Jon is now powerful and will get more so and will come. Tyrells and Dorne are coming. Nightwish is coming. :emoticon-0178-rock: It's all about exacting revenge and killing enemies for her, she doesn't care about the bigger picture and is completely absorbed in her KL bullshit

Awesome to see the annoying nun getting water boarded with wine as well and then left to the mountain. Makes you ask has she actually done much wrong ? All she's done is be pious and have faith. And oh yeah Cersei officially named R.Strongster as Gregor Clegane and that helmet taking off moment was cool as !

Kinda satisfying to see Tommen fall off that ledge but also kinda sad as what's he's really done other than try to survive politically and really in a harsh world ?

One of the most disturbing bits in the episode was the 'little birds' stabbing Pycelle to death. Not so much him getting it, I was glad about that as he's been a shifty ****er since the start, but because it's very little kids doing killing which is uncomfortable. Guess Qyburn has been their role model after all since Varys left. However it's cool that the youngest generation in KL who are kind of pure and innocent (kind of not since they're also murderers now) have killed off one of the disgusting, hypocritical and fake older ones

Fake is a key word for the whole episode I think. You can apply it in different ways to all the characters. They're all fakes and pretty hollow in various senses

One who isn't fake is Sam and it was great to see him enter the library and realise that he had pretty much all the knowledge in the world at his disposal, cool scene. He just got a huge power up. And the librarian was funny 'This is irregular' 'No women or children!' <laugh>

Loved Jon's King in the north moment, totes epic man, especially with Lyanna Mormont starting it all off, she's a ****ing awesome little dynamo ... he had more guys cheering him than Robb even but they're a load of hypocritical shallow turncoat twats that lot, can't believe he was like 'ain't no thing to forgive bitches !' Sansa's wry smile at that moment was funny as well. To say his storyline has stretched suspension of disbelief would be understatement but like elsewhere in the episode the main thing is that it's now moving forward and getting towards a resolution. Was too easy though how he accepted her apology and explanation about the Knights of the Vale and lilwanger, you'd think he'd be more pissed. What a creeper lilwanger is ... that lean in though :emoticon-0119-puke: ... that rejection though <diva><applause>

On that point. Thought that the sequence for the RLJ stuff was mostly well handled, they could have been more explicit though but the cut/transition from the baby's face to Jon's in his coronation scene was clear enough and the swelling music was awesome. Something of a letdown however. Why did they obscure the things they were whispering to each other. Benjen really went and got himself ****ing dead though didn't he, how pale did he look ?!

Melisandre being all sheepish about Sheereen with Davos was actually pretty hilarious. She is well fit though, fit as **** (glamoured one not granny one obvs) so glad they didn't execute her in the end. But Jon is total **** as a leader

Arya kill was expected for me as I'd read a couple of things about the whole 'Frey pie' thing which hilariously they included. He got his, that was nice and satisfying for the shady ****, dying totally confused, grieving and sort of sickened ... she does like slitting throats slow though doesn't she <laugh> 'Where are my sons?' 'They're here my lord'

The Daenarys stuff was ok - pretty good, some of it quite cool like seeing her whole massive fleet from above with the dragons zooming over them, Greyworm just chillin on deck. That's a feck off massive fleet, wonder if they stood in position like that for the whole voyage, bet they had sore legs. Guess Varys is a quick negotiator and also a pretty decent time traveller as well ! And I suppose Daario gets to be King of Meereen or PM or something decent compensation now that he ain't getting no more dragon pussy. That was a very cool scene actually, he's a badass and a proper M.A.N. Now Tyrion's in lover with Dany ! hahaha Also Dorthraki not going with ... played that well with her whole speech about riding the wooden horses to them all ... dee-nied

But yeah, it was nice they did something a bit different with the last episode, a little bit anyways, it was still cliffhangery but in a more original way, mostly in that the main cliffhanger now is how it all ends. Finally !
