I've no idea whether it will or it won't. One thing's for sure, neither the EU nor successive British governments have built them.

I hope someone decides to build it soon. It's too late for my generation, but future generations will benefit.
Wouldn't it be great if we could get control of our coastal waters again? Maybe there might be some more jobs for British people on and offshore.

Once the result was announced the Brexit campaigners had done their job. They have ZERO participation in exit negotiations unless specifically asked to by the Prime Minister and that is likely not what they would be asked to do and have ZERO mandate in any forward economic strategy. The big fear now is that those appointed for this exact purpose are not strong enough in what will be tough negotiations and this was part of the argument against the 60 odd people who signed a letter asking the PM to stay, BJ included. Cameron hadn't been strong enough in his negotiations when he came back with his Chamberlain paper and it was doubted he could actually secure the best deal for our controlled exit which is perhaps partly why he jumped ship, that and the fact he would be called from a pig to a dog by EU ministers to whom he likely made false promises whilst under estimating the feeling in the country.

I think people who voted took a lot of things into account and were not influenced a great deal by a passing bus.
Maybe you think that a lot of people voted Remain because Osborne said that if the vote went against him he'd have a "punishment budget"?

Any data to back up this claim or is it just the opinion of a bigot?

I'm disappointed so many people decided this was the right time to have a protest vote against Westminster, and are relishing the idea of the chaos this will now cause. I don't think it means they're all bigotted though, and I expect many hold sincere thought out positions which I happen to disagree with.

Surely now though we need constructive discussion - we need to understand each other's position so that we can try to find some common ground to move forward.

On the contrary, I am sure the Germans who didn't vote for the Nazi Party were even more in favour of democracy after 1933!
The Nazi Party never had a majority. They came to power by undemocratic means.
"On 23 March, the parliament passed the Enabling Act of 1933, which gave the cabinet the right to enact laws without the consent of parliament. In effect, this gave Hitler dictatorial powers. Now possessing virtually absolute power, the Nazis established totalitarian control; they abolished labour unions and other political parties and imprisoned their political opponents, first at wilde Lager, improvised camps, then in concentration camps. Nazi Germany had been established, yet the Reichswehr remained impartial: Nazi power over Germany remained virtual, not absolute.
During June and July 1933 all competing parties were either outlawed or dissolved themselves. Subsequently, the Law against the founding of new parties of 14 July 1933 legally established the Nazi Party's monopoly."

This was always going to be about who controls Britain and what happens in Britain. At least we can now defenestrate any leader/party who doesn't cut the mustard.
The delight at the dismay of the smug Remain whingers will recede, and the focus will shift to how we can best move forward now the shackles are off and everyone adjusts to the new landscape.

Which is why you used your vote to Remain in the same way that more people didn't hear from your party a reason to remain.

One thing I do know is that there's a lot of people who don't like the democratic process and are extremely bad losers.
The UK has voted to leave the EU and that is what will happen - tantrums or no tantrums.

It also wasnt long after that they started executing anybody that remotely disagreed with them.
It must have been a stageringly petrifying place to live in.
