Seemed almost a certainty this Summer and ultimately was; shame he went to Spuds and a rival top-six club. We will miss him; especially the European fixtures with the number of games we will play this coming season. His playing time will be limited but will be useful for Spuds when trying to defend a lead in a CL match. Cannot see him as a regular starter.
As long as he plays badly in 2 fixtures And if he plays us in the Europa Final after Spurs fail dramatically in the CL* *May be too greedy....I don't care who we play in the Europa Final.
Sounds like Victor...he posted a similar tweet a few days ago to the fans. He managed to get a thanks and good luck message from Saints....that's an achievement in itself.
I was always a big fan and defender of Vic. We will miss him. He seems to have gone fairly gracefully (he had some earlier mutterings), so I can say "Thanks Vic" but forgive my shallowness when I offer up no wishes of good luck. He's gone. No professional good wishes from me. Hope he flunks because that means either Spuds have flunked too, or they have wasted some dosh. Thanks. Bye.
Well at least he won't get booed....it was getting hard to remember who we are supposed to hate. Luckily Koeman has made it simpler.
Nice message. Well done Vic. Like FLT I cannot wish you success, as it would mean wishing Spurs success. But I hope you enjoy good health and you continue to be able to send money home to support your family.
