Not been a bad night. We got what we wanted, with the probability of losing the Scottish thrown in as a bonus.
Technically incorrect. Newcastle qualified by Europe by winning the Inter-toto cup (didn't know there was an actual cup until we sunk so low and starved for success that they actually brought it out to the crowd about 10 years ago). More pertinently Boro won the League Cup and qualified.
So, how's that going to work on the northern border if the Scots do now go for independence, get it and decide to remain in the EU? Scotland will have to keep the EU open borders for workers policy. How do we stop europeans flying into Scotland and getting the train south? Rebuild the wall? Likewise the Irish border?
I'm on my way to Wallsend now with a bag of bricks I'm guessing they'll have their 'in out' referendum on independence, followed by an 'in out' referendum on applying for EU membership.

If they're gonna do it, it has to be soon, within the 2 years it'll take for the government to negotiate to leave the EU. They have to announce that Westminster isn't speaking for them. Now we'll really see how good Nicola Sturgeon is. Because this opportunity is as good as it gets, but at the same time, the price of oil is rock bottom and they can't afford to leave.
We wont need to, we've solved the immigration issues by going down the route of damaging our economy to make ourselves less appealing. Quite clever really. Ok, Leave has succeeded and I hope that I and all the qualified professionals whose job it is to accurately predict what was going to happen and all the educated masses were wrong. I hope Gove and Johnson were right. Not going to write anything more on this as it's done, it was a small majority but it was a majority and the country has spoken. We have our Independence Day. Possibly like the movie.
Well it looks like it will be Boris as our next PM which will be another nail in the coffin of the ordinary working person..
We have our Independence Day. Possibly like the movie. ----------------------------- And **** is going to explode.......quite poetic.
So who's going to replace the thousands of foreign workers who pick the crops in the south east? I don't see all the unemployed leaving the cities in their thousands to go and work in the fields. The implications of this vote is staggering.
Check the demographics when they come out - I have no doubt. ps. It doesn't make them correct, I really hope they aren't!
Why do they need replaced? We're not sending people 'home' mate. Secondly, we'll replace them with foreigners, from Europe, IF WE WANT.
Almost all of the guys out in the fields in my area are seasonal workers. They don't stay when all of the crops are in. Another thing! Who's gonna wash my car?????????? You buggers!!!
Wash your car?... sorry, I don't know what that means, I live in Manchester mate, it rains every day. 1st world problems.
In the last 2 hours the UK Economy has already lost more that we've paid to the EU in the last 40 years. Farage already backtracking about what may or may not be possible following exit... well no ****, because the Leave campaign wasn't a manifesto. Nothing much changes except we are all poorer. Fantastic.
