    I've just voted.
    In

May God have mercy on my soul.

I felt just as happy about it as I did voting Tory at the last election - eg I didn't feel happy at all.

I agree with a lot of the 'out' arguments but the risk of the Unknown was too great to take.

Now I fear the wrath of Redprintt, Banksy and Wiz for my 'in' vote and MTG and Cliftonville for voting Tory.

Whatever, it was my reluctant conclusion and whatever the outcome to the vote I wish, sincerely, with all my heart - that we can unite and work together.

This vote should not have been called in the first place.

Anyway, I'll try and concentrate on my trip to see ELO in Birmingham tomorrow, followed by Plymouth for the Armed Services Festival on Saturday and Sunday.

No Wrath from me.. I knew you would vote in pretty much from the first post. Most people won't have the balls to take a new path or look for a new solution.. thats why they are employees rather than employers!

I do however take exception to this!

Typical of the so called liberal elite, the people aren't intelligent enough to have their say, they need better people to think for them. I've heard this said by multiple people, the same people who said the euro is a good idea and there wont be hardly any immigrants coming here.

BTW I voted tory at the last election.. for one simple reason.. They promised a referendum! (although we have been promised in every manifesto since 2005!)

I'm not a liberal elite - neither am I unintelligent.
If you knew I was voting in from the start then you know me better than I know myself!

My job is all about risk aversion- and I have a mortgage paying £1,700 per month.

Serious change may hurt me paying it.

I said this should not have happened because the whole campaign has been a fest of theories, lies, guesses, promises but with very few solid facts upon which to base my decision.
If we could factually state that immigration would be brought down and we had trade agreements in waiting with Canada, USA, India etc then I would have voted out - because I do get those concerns.
But there are no guarantees. Nobody knows who and how countries would trade with us because we would have to start from scratch.

    Good luck whatever happens.

I never said you were, read it again.

We may now not be able to negotiate those trade deals or control the immigration. its people with incomes less than your monthly mortgage that will be the ones first to suffer.

Aww diddums - more toys ejected from your cot, which is after all what you're very good at.

That's part of the reason I never bothered to get involved in this debate because there are some who simply get all worked up when they're disagreed with.

    Grow up.

I haven't played the racist card you plank, I've simply described what some on the Leave side have stated during the campaign.

You want evidence - I gave you it a couple of days ago but here it is again, watch between 16 to 20.45 minutes for the answer.

    http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=michael dougan&&view=detail&mid=63CE31D73C83433921ED63CE31D73C83433921ED&FORM=VRDGAR

I could tell that you didn't like what you heard (if you listened) as the first response was not that oh, that's a bit concerning if it's true but rather that he's a professor who is biased and worried about his job....

Well do you know what, the guy is an acknowledged expert on the EU and the rules and regs and I will accept what he says as being accurate and frankly, I don't give a toss if you do or not.

I have been trying to present my points in a fair and civil manner but for days now, you have been doing nothing but dismiss anything put forward to you out of hand as either biased, speculation or scare mongering. It absolutely doesn't matter to you that any of it it might actually be true and factual - oh no, just plough straight on with the Brexit campaign philosophy which is when challenged with something that you don't like, simply belittle, besmirch and discredit and go on about growing some bollocks and lately, you must have been on the steroids as it has been getting increasingly strident as the deadline approaches.

What is the point of growing some bollocks if all you are going to do is to blow them off and emasculate yourself in a desperate bid to escape from the clutches of the evil Dr EU. It is far from perfect but the pressure from within will grow and Merkel will NOT achieve her utopia, no matter what her stance, too many nations are against it...

Thank **** it is over and we can get back to arguing about the football...

    Fair enough <ok>
Its a shame that the thing that tipped the scales for you was just the "unknown". Do you know about the TTIP? That alone convinced me to vote out. TTIP will happen so get ready to say goodbye to services such as the NHS.
Also Turkey. Im worried about the potential of them joining the EU. We are hearing they are light years away from joining. But Cameron is spending millions of our money trying to fast track them. The evidence is there and when questioned, he didnt deny it and that worries me. Cameron has form with his bullshit. These aint the only 2 reasons why I voted out by the way <ok>

Can I ask, do you have any regrets voting Tory at the last election?

I cant see the EU changing a thing if we remain in. They will think they are doing everything right as the UK would have basically given them a vote of confidence by remaining.
