I would look class when ive got Pogba, Cabye and Payet around me. You can't look at the Euros matches as a yardstick of their talent, Sissokos in one of the best teams at the euros and Bradys in one of the worst. Kante is in demand because hes proved he can perform at a high level for club and country. Should listen to what geordies say about him.. (NSFW)
... no you wouldn't ... because you would not have earned the right to be selected in the same squad (that said, you might hve an outside chance of the Irish squad ) ... and I disagree that you can't use the Euros (or the World Cup) as a yard stick ... France are one of the favourites for the tournament and rightly so ... Sissoko is no make weight ... he has beaten some incredible talent to be included in that squad ...not many poor players in the French, Spanish or German squads let's face it ... Robbie Brady is not Gareth Bale ... he is not even a stand out player in a very ordinary Irish squad ... he is one of a bunch of journeymen ... would he get in the French squad? ... you already know the answer ... Of course some of the Geordies have not been impressed they have seen a team that has been woefully inept ... and those that are the most talented in that expensive squad will obviously come in for most of the ire ... but Sissoko has at least shown sparks of class ... McLaren couldn't get the best out of any of their expensive signings ... but Benitez started to ... Last night he gathered the ball on the edge of his own penalty area, left 3 or 4 Swiss players in his wake, as he bombed the length of the pitch, before looking up (key for me) to actually pick Payet out intentionally with a perfect ball to the back stick ... that's what he is capable of doing against really good opposition ... he did similar things to Spurs so called 'wonder defence' last season ... in fact the Toon were the only team to do the double over Spuds and Sissoko was the star man in both for them ... ... I also think he would benefit a lot from Claudio Ranieri's man management ... there is obvious talent there ...
Wow ... really? ... completely disagree ... he has been superb ... most of the pundits have commented on France's stand out players being Payet AND Kante ... ... last night the Swiss were unlucky not to win, not least because they dominated the midfield .. in contrast, France bossed the midfield in their first two games largely due to Kante protecting the back four and hardly putting a foot wrong ... probably made more passes than any other player and with remakable accuracy ... no question that he will be one of the first names on the sheet for the next game. all about opinions for sure ...
I don't know how you lads get time to watch all the games and write all these comments. You must have 30 hour days up there.

You must be able to see the comparisons between Ireland and Leicester, 2 teams with the heart and spirit to succeed, Brady would complement Leicester alot more than Sissoko.
Claiming that Robbie Brady is Ireland's 'best player by a mile' is similar to claiming thet the Hoof & Wriggly bits pie is by far the best pie in the Lidl range ... it's also wrong.... The one moment of genuine class in the Ireland performance yesterday was Wes Hoolihan's ball into Brady ... particularly as moments before he had fluffed a golden opportunity to score himself .. Now I'm of Irish descent (Great Grandpappy came over from Tipp) so I'll always be rooting for them (even though I class myself as English being the third generation in this country) ... but I'll also be realistic about them ... As to comparison's between Ireland and Leicester City? ... very few ... for instance, how many of that Irish side would get into the current Leicester City first choice line-up? ,,, for me not a one... If you are talking about spirit, resilience and combatativeness? - yes there are some similarities ... butt that's where it stops ... ... as such I wholly disagree that Brady would compliment us more than Sissoko ... a motivated Sissoko (and that's the key) is different class ... we were not 'plucky over-acheivers' last season ... yes we had the qualities mentioned above (and hopefully will retain those) ... but what won us the title was far more down to genuine quality in key areas ... and that's what we need to continue to add IMHO ... ... but it's all about opinions ... and it would be very boring if we all agreed
Southampton have agreed an £11m deal for Nathan Redmond. Wouldn't have minded us going in for him to be fair, and that's a great price (especially considering Deeney is £30m+ )
I hope to god we don't sign Milik from Poland. We have been linked with him and he has been ****e all euro
