Pretty much sums him up for me Cromer and I think in the right set up and with the fight management, he could achieve his potential.
I take your point about him coming from Brum, nut where would you rather live?????
Really hope he doesn't go to Stoke!!!

I hadn't realised that the emergency loan system is being scrapped. I'm still hopeful, but time will tell, I guess.

With Northern Ireland Keeper Michael McGovern soon to be out of contract at Hamilton (Aex Neil's old hunting ground) and having had a fine performance against the Germans do you think we should have a punt at trying to sign him?

I'm sure he'll have offers from a far loftier position than our's, so it will boil down to how well he views AN as a manager! <ok>

I wouldn't be so sure, he has just been released by a Scottish side. The issue with us whether he would feel he had a chance of being No. 1.

Personally although he's had a great tournament so far I wouldn't be bending over backwards for him.

Talking of keepers, my boy pictured with Big John at the Costessey tournament last weekend. Ruddy was brilliant, even after we beat the side with his son in 2-1. Wouldn't want to take a right hook from him.

So pleased For LCFC, and well done to him. I am sure he is being well rewarded.

I could kind of see it myself. If there is indeed Premier League interest, it's not going to be as a first choice keeper. Ruddy's position isn't secure, and McGovern may feel he can displace him. Rudd can then move on and hopefully start his career properly.

His wages would certainly not be exorbitant, and the Alex Neil connection may well give us an edge. He's hardly a young keeper who could blossom into something incredible, but he's free and could still have ten years in him. Given that we're working on a tight budget there aren't going to be many stronger options.

    No.

This is what we do every season/every couple of seasons. We always have to sign some old knacker of a keeper, that could be 2nd or 3rd choice and not make a fuss!

We have never ever needed that! We keep paying wages for Keepers we all know we will never ever play! I want us to use the money we waste on these signing to buy or pay for wages on the striker or CB we have needed for the last 8 years.

Redmond is supposedly set for a Saints medical today, prior to an £11m move. Tshibola story seems to have gone cold, but maybe being kept under wraps.
