    Good Morning Everyone,

Congratulations to Stuart Dallas and his team mates for qualifying for the last 16 of the European Championships...

Steve Evans has turned down the Oldham job. Suppose he is looking for another Championship stint. Can't blame him...

The Fixture league comes out today. Who is everyone hoping for on the first day?

Leeds have announced friendlies against Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne as part of their pre season.

The clash with Shelbourne, who Leeds have played several times in previous pre-seasons, will take place on Wednesday, July 13 (7pm). United are scheduled to play Shamrock Rovers on Saturday, July 16 (3pm).

Wasn't it yesterday that Leeds had their board meeting? I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that one.

Can't see GFH wanting to invest any money, and if they don't, why should the others?

GFH are skint so won't invest, they want others to do that and sit back and watch the value of their shares increase for doing nothing. Hopefully Cellino can find a way of finding a 'breach of contract' clause that he can exploit to get rid or at least devalue their shares pro-rata on any investment from the club or others. GFH have fooked this club up ever since they landed. Cellino alone is bad enough but having these slimers around too, we may as well have Bates back.

Just imagine if useless Woy had have taken Andy Carroll (As we all knew he would be needed at least once) and even Townsend who could have done some damage. Wiltshire not fit and Henderson not good enough. We look good going forward but park a bus and we're too predictable and Woy doesn't know what to do. He gambled and lost the other night

So long as we avoid scumronaldo in the last 16 it made no difference.
You have to beat the best teams any way and by the time anyone gets to the last 8 you cant expect to be playing against ****e.

Leeds United are set to have a board meeting in the next 48 hours over concerns that minority shareholder GFH Capital are struggling to pay money into the club, it has been claimed.

The Whites are set to pay close to £2m to sign striker Marcus Antonsson from Swedish side Kalmar FF, but further transfer dealings may be frustrated by GFH not sinking money into the club.

The Middle Eastern group are minority shareholders, while Italian chairman Massimo Cellino is majority shareholder.

According to Radio Yorkshire, Leeds, who were having a board meeting on Tuesday, will hold another board meeting within the next 48 hours.

It is claimed that GFH are having trouble raising capital to invest in the playing squad at Elland Road, which would impact on player recruitment.

Morning Doc, for all the terrible PR that Cellino has caused, at least he wants Leeds to succeed. He is trying to do what he thinks is right. GFH, well, you've hit the nail on its head....

Morning Glory, I was thinking the same. TBH, there are no teams in the Euro's that scare me this time around. Only team I would fear for England's sake are Germany due to their organisation and results down the years against us.

Kalmar striker Marcus Antonsson will become Leeds United’s first summer signing after agreeing a three-year contract with the Elland Road club.

Antonsson is set to join Leeds for a fee rising to almost £2million after completing a medical and finalising personal terms.

The 25-year-old - the leading scorer in Sweden’s top division this season - travelled to England over the weekend after United struck a deal with Kalmar.

Antonsson, who previously worked with new United assistant Pep Clotet at Halmstads, caught the eye of English clubs with a tally of 10 goals in 12 games for Kalmar.

Aston Villa were also linked with him but an offer made by Leeds last week cleared the way for Antonsson to hold talks with United.

The forward is set to become Leeds’ first arrival of the close season and the first since the club named Garry Monk as head coach three weeks ago.

Morning all. Interesting few weeks ahead that could shape up next season before a ball is even kicked.

Don't they have to get through qualifying before they enter the cups properly?
