If Leicester played England in a match who do people think would win?

England are unchanged against Wales from the Russia game so England can use that line up

Hart, Walker, Smalling, Cahill, Rose, Dier, Rooney, Alli, Lallana, Sterling, Kane

And we would line up pretty much how we have all season

Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kante, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy

So who do people think would win?

I fancy the Leicester team to win

Sturridge is as bad as Kane! They have to be the two most selfish, in it only for themselves, strikers ever!

No one in an England shirt knows how to play to Vardy's strength... the build up is so slow and the fullbacks play too high and overcrowd the space. The only decent pass he got all afternoon was from Ashley Williams. That guy does seem to have a soft spot for Leicester players.

    Leicester would win comfortably.

As would most other sides in the Premier League.

I think it's funny the media keep talking about teams "doing a Leicester" ie achieving against the odds. Last time I checked England hadn't won a trophy for 50 years, and Roy Hodgeson had the opportunity to fill the team with ACTUAL Leicester City players, fresh from your successful campaign.

Based on last nights show, this particular match up could get embarrassing for England! Just the type of performance Leicester feed off.

    What's the point in Henderson?
    Clyne much better than Walker
Bertrand better than Rose but still poor
Centre halves had one thing to do all night and nearly messed that up
Wilshere thinks he's Danny Drinkwater but not fit to lace his boots
Sterling and Kane great performances on the bench, Alli's performance deteriorated as soon as he came off it
Rooney played much better when he started the last matches
    Lallana played quite well

    Woy Hodgson f****** donkey

There must be an awful lot of foreign fans out there wondering what all the fuss was about Vardy's achievements this season. As every game goes by his effectiveness in an England shirt seems to decrease. His movement is nothing like what it is for Leicester and he just looks out of his comfort zone; he's not able to pull defenders out of position and get the ball in the positions he likes. Maybe the knockout stages will be different when we play teams who have to open up a bit more.

Disagree about Walker and Rose - Walker has been one of our best players, Alli was playing as a left winger because Hodgeson is LvG in an ill fitting mask and Sterling is awful and shouldn't play full stop.

For me, only my opinion, but Walker looks deceptively good due to his pace but I think he seems to always either cut back and play backwards or his delivery isn't good. I felt Clyne was also pacey but looks to have a better delivery. Rose just seems defensively poor

With a bit of luck the experience of playing in a team not utilising his strengths or being stuck on the bench instead of being a main man will convince Vardy he's better off staying with us.

We haven't looked like winning either - we are playing like Man Utd under Van Gaal.

ah side-ways and back pass football been so successful in the league this season that Woy thinks lets try in at the euros and it shows why Manu sacked their manager its boring football it doesnt get the fans blood pumping, it doesn't make sit on the edge of your seat. I hope we play the same style of football in europe next season that we played in the league.
Ps any chance they could sack Woy and employ Joe Royal, MIke basset or what ever his name is so we can play 4 4 fcuking 2.

They put 1 ball over the top that created an opportunity for Vardy, you would have thought they would have learned after that, but apparently not ...

Take today as a good example, how many passes did it take for Spain to score from defence? 4..5? It seems that England need to take 6 passes before even passing forward.

Well, I wouldn't even say it's down to the team so much as the manager. If you put that starting 11 with someone like Claudio in charge I think we'd get much more positive results. Those were just observations of that match. The players don't seem to be playing a style that suits their strengths
