His seasonal average is 17.3% strike rate but in the last 7 days a measly 10.2%. That's from the Sporting Life. for the last 2 weeks I make it 10 wins from 68 rides so 14.7%. So it's getting worse.
In last 7 days he's had 49 rides but in the preceding 7 days I make it only 19. Did he have the collywobbles?

A champion jockey normally hits 20%

He is some jockey though -learns very quickly and has that special something that marks him out from the mere brilliant ones!

To be honest I don't follow jockeys as much as trainers -for instance on Sunday at Hexham the father and son combo of the Coltherd family won with all three of their runners -some feat -but next time they might be just running for a mark or getting fit for another assault -trainers often target tracks and also races they have won previously and want to own them........but surely its hard to do such things!

Good job the Germans aren't subject to UK football "journalism" <laugh> "Toothless Germany squeeze past NI"; "Löw got it wrong - again"; "Winning group puts Germany in more difficult half of draw" etc etc etc ...................... <doh>

Looks like one of those "training" shirts (specially commissioned for JD Sports <laugh>) rather than an official national shirt

English football "journalists" view on Spain's first half:

"Mundane, sterile football against a far inferior opponent. Why isn't Koke playing? Strikers look devoid of confidence. Poor goal conceded"

English football "journalists" on Spain V Croatia:

"Oh its all Del Bosque's fault, he shouldn't have changed a single player from the last match cos everybody knows that if you keep exactly the same team you always win. Such a DISGRACE to finish SECOND in the group and now they have the MUCH HARDER path through the next stage as they meet Italy in the next round. Oh **** me why didn't he play Rooney .............................. and the diamond ...................... and the same team for the last 18 matches" etc etc etc waffle waffle waffle

"So Germany scraped past Norther Ireland 1-0 and Spain lost to Croatia to finish 2nd in the group - but England are still crap"
