As I was asking about Woy making six changes in a match we needed to win, not really. But thanks for trying.
This for me Whole game played at a pace that even I would have been comfortable with It needed some crisp passing and pace on the edge of the box, with people trying to actually beat a man Goal or free kick...or as was the case tonight, neither
Reading the rubbish posted on this forum you'd think England had lost!! We've played three negative teams who have parked the bus against us We were by a country mile the best team in the group & would have no fears playing any of them again. To blame Hodgson for England not winning the group is just bonkers. Now we're in the knock-on stages the opposition will have to be more attacking which will leave us a lot more space to run into. I think this is one of the best England squads I've seen & they are playing good attacking football. Hodgson should be praised in my view, not vilified.
no probs - if you can be bothered the thread was posts 181, 183, 258 and 259 - if not, I'm sure you're not missing much - all the best
I can see why you like Brucie - you seem to think having the best team and playing **** football is in some way ok - believe me - it isn't
Lets look at this another way. We struggle to break teams down. Therefore if we where to play a 3rd placed team the likelyhood is that they will go for extra time and pens as they know their limitations. A 2nd place team will fancy their chances and the game will be more open. We have some really good young players..Lets judge later we may be surprised as the group stage has proved nothing yet.
Thats the trouble John. Its a midfield full of narrow players plus Sterling who runs down i blind alley
Against Russia, Wales and Slovakia we were the ONLY team playing any football - the other three just parked the bus.
