So shut the **** up please. We have a much stronger side than last year, pre-season means ****. Pre-season is there for abit of match fitness and to put through some of the young lads in to see how they do with the 1st team. Look at liverpool they got beat off hull 4-0 or something. You think they are going to cry and think they're going to get relegate **** no. People in this forum need to take there fist out there arse and put a ****ing smile on there face.
Also this bloody thread? http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...r...-Do-you-really-think-we-will-be-relegated was there any need for it. NO we are not going to get relegated because we wont sign one more player but YES we do need to add more and if some of these thick ****s dont realise that there is a bloody January window aswell.

Cabaye - Look at the quality we have signed Cabaye no faults at all with him.
Demba ba - Demba ba at 1st i was abit like **** but after seeing him play he will do well for us.
Sylvain Marveaux - He looks like another unreal signing, tricky and puts in a bloody shift.
Hatem Ben Arfa - With HBA back well with a minor setback that feels like a new signing in itself, even though he wasnt fully comfortable yet he still was cheeky with his play and did some brilliant play.
Dan Gosling - With Daniel Gosling back in the picture hes another one who i think will shine this season with the cracking shift he put in against Columbus.
Mehdi Abeid - He is looking like a massive prospect, he will fit right in to the 1st team.
Haris Vuckic - No doubt this kid will be on the sub or possibly starting later on in seaon, he deserves it and will be cracking once he is more confident infront of massive crowds and 1st team football.

Thats 7 extra 1st team players available*
I dont mind the criticism, just sick of people going on a massive down like a lass on her time of the month.

*Once HBA is back from his "slight" knock.

Agree with alot of what you have said mate. Our midfield is stacked with talent. With tiote's fondness for a yellow card and the African cup of nations coming this year, I think there will be opportunities for alot of our young lads like vuckic and Abeid. Def need a striker in though. Assuming Ba stays fit, he too will be off to Africa in jan.

Glad some people have managed to stay positive.

Providing we keep Enrique and Barton, I definitely agree that we have a much stronger squad this year. I listened to the game today (yet to see highlights and obviously alot of people actually went to the game) but it seemed that their goals were all based around individual errors. Something I would much rather see in pre-season then Aug 13th onwards.

I will keep my relegation worries at bay until well into this coming campaign. If we are in the bottom 5 at xmas...I might start to worry.

People need to remember we are coming into our second season after promotion. We are building a PL squad, not just buying one or two overpriced stars. That being said, we need a couple more decent players in. Preferably in this transfew window and not jan imo.

Cheers, I understand bolton4europe was getting annoyed at some of the ****ty relegation threads and how we got beat by Leeds in pre-season....not like we lost points or lost a cup game..people just need to cheer up and think before **** comes out there mouth instead of there arse. P.s b4e is a secret toon lover ;)

No, you're just more active than any other board.

I am an un-biased supporter of English football, unless Bolton are involved <ok> I feel sorry for your situation but I agree you have to be optimisic.

For example, Bolton are now reportedly interested in Shawn Wright-Phillips as Chung Yong Lee has broken his leg and he will need to be replaced for the following season. Sure, there are problems with Shawn Wright-Phillips, but as I support football to cheer on my team, not to slate them, I will see Wright-Phillips as a great signing.

Considering that situation though, it would be better to get him on loan considering we wouldn't want to pay 50K for more than one season for a player we'd only need for one season.

The club just has that same feel to it the season we went down. Doesn't matter how much talent you have, if all the players are not pulling in the same direction there's only one outcome. It's a big worry for most of us at the moment, and the only respite will come when the current regime pack their bags

You can't say its not going to happen, that's just foolish when we've already seen it can happen. I'd fancy us to stop up but expect us to flirt with it throughout a long hard season. If we get a bad run of injuries (not unthinkable as we have 8 or 9 injury prone players), then we could easily struggle. I'm not worried about the morale within the club. I think our current lot will be fine in terms of committing to the cause next year. We have a lot of young players who bring drive and enthusiasm, and they along with the new lads have a point to prove both over here and within the club. Don't get me wrong all is not well at present and relegation is always a possibility, I just think we'll do enough.

<applause> I totally agree. Why support a club like this if you're going to knock it down all the time?

January will be a nightmare because of the African cup of nations. Our injuries always seem to mount up during the season and our lack of squad depth will again be small and youngsters will have to be played. I don't think we will be relegated but I think this season could be a struggle.
