p.s I got my tickets for Black Sabbaths final ever gig on Feb 4th next year in Birmingham It will be a bitter-sweet night seeing the end of the band who started it all nearly 50 years ago. Often copied, never bettered IMHO
being of dual nationality I wanted the Welsh to win and I also wanted England to win, however I wanted a draw to be fair, as a compromise but that could have meant either were eliminated .. now of course I want both to win ... as they can likely both progress, SADLY THOUGH I shall miss the exciting rounds last 16 being off the coast of Scotland doing a charity event in an 8 metre yacht

well today is the day, so far got it right ! Imagine if we lost ...aaaargh and Wales lost aaaaargh no not going there My doubts about Portugal seem to be correct however, ITALY they were always "in the dark horses camp" Italy could prevail COME ON WALES and COME ON ENGLAND

Iceland have shown they hold their own so a draw is likely result so they will have 3 pts and AUSTRIA will be taking a taxi but the different combo's is a maze ....ing
should be a Bristol city manager ... ... "Roy Hodgson says England could not have done more against Slovakia" .... ...sorry Roy scoring might be what is actually needed, it is when the team you pick puts the ball in the back of the opponents net !!!!
don't see what more hodgson could have done - following that logic he should drop joe haart next game, he didn't do a damn thing last night,
I have just finished looking at the pan out for the draw and results to date WOW WEEEE WALES ....................... ........................ WHAT a superb chance you have to progress to the semi's if you get past the next game .... you are 18/1 to reach the final bet on each way to win you get half the odds, not 12/1 ENGLAND HAVE PICKED UP 11.5M EURO SO FAR (£9M) Wales a bit more
Let's not get carried away here, Wales have done well no doubt, but so far they have only come up against one anywhere near decent side, England, and they lost, they will beat NI then lose. That said, the NI game is for them what the Wales game was for us, in that they will be the overwhelming favourites against another British Isles side who will be desperate to upset the 'bigger' team.
supcon but so far they have only come up against one anywhere near decent side ............. I had a list of the players 500 odd who started the tournament ...and over a quarter were uk or played in the uk, mainly the premiership Belgians, French and Spanish being the most prolific so some of that"international flavour" will maybe rub off ??? you should not knock Wales, supporters will be flocking to see them play and win at home and abroad over the next couple of years the next hurdle is not unsurmountable, and should they fail it will be no good bleating about if this or if that ... they have not pulled the wool over peoples eyes they have been out in the open with their passion and given all, the rest of the competition is a big hill to climb, and for the next few years the pastures look greener than the past ..
On the whole I feel these Euros have been pretty low on quality. The gap has certainly closed between the top sides and the rest, as witnessed by the likes of Wales, NI, Albania etc. I didn't see the first KO game Switz v Pol, but watched NI v Wales and Croatia v Portugal, and really really dire boring games that lacked any attacking intent. On these performances Belguim would appear to have a very easy route to the final, but we will see.
supcon ..... almost 1 in four of the players taking part are from teams in the UK, BELGIUM and FRANCE have 11 players each in the PREM and Spain and Italy has 6 ! that's 34 out of 92 ! or 40%
