Got nowt but a perfunctory card from eldest son, who is apparently too busy earning a fortune to actually spend any of it on his Old Man. Youngest daughter got me a National Railway Museum mug in recognition of my lifelong interest in steam trains that I didn't realise that I had.

Frankly I expected better after 25 years of service.

Is there a father's day ombudsman or compliance officer to whom I can complain?

Our lass ordered a personalised card with a picture of me and the baby on.

Unfortunately the woman that makes them got mine mixed up with another customers and sent the wrong cards out. Fortunately she did manage to resend the correct cards out in time.

But somewhere out there, someone is in possession of a card with a picture of a random baby, sucking on some strange blokes nose.

I got cards, slippers, bag of pork scratchings and a book about dads with breakfast in bed. And went to see my dad and took him to pitch and putt

Socks with football's on them, and a home made card. Because, according to the boy, I like socks and football.

Bottle of Mount Gay XO Reserva rum from my Daughter and my Son got me a 2 hour Off Road driving experience, that we will go on together. I learnt to drive off road in the Royal Corps of Transport, so it should be interesting,
