It was a shocking high boot, that usually gets given.

 

Fellaini was picked mainly cos he is a Man U player, and I dont think he will be for much longer.

 

Shame they've lost Dembele already with injury, totally right there about Fellaini

 

At least McShame wasn't playing so they've managed to keep it down to 3.

 

Clark isn't any better really, and Huddlestone would beat O Shea in a foot race

Now Italy have won the group, they'll face either Spain, Croatia or Czech Republic.

Hope Croatia beat Spain, meaning we'll have Spain vs Italy in the Rof16.

 

Even if the ref didn't give a pen for the high foot he should have stopped the game for Long head injury!

 

Hoping Hungary and Iceland go through the group really.

An Iceland win today could be the best result, with Austria winning later.

I believe the same ref sent Nani off for the same offense vs Real Madrid and his foot was nowhere near as high or dangerous. No consistency.

 

That was Real Madrid... I bet all the players surrounded the referee and the bloke who got touched went down liked he'd broken every bone in his body. I'm not surprised at all a red was given.

Also, Nani is a ****, so no sympathy.

Pretty certain that pre-match someone said there are 27,100 Iceland fans in the Stade Velodrome.

Which means around 8% of Iceland's population is in that stadium.


Insanity.

 

Almost every fan in the ground is wearing a replica shirt, especially noticeable in the Iceland end.

 

To be fair, that Iceland kit is quite nice IMO.



The Marseille pitch looks atrocious, and they've only played about 3 matches on it. God knows what it'll be like come the semi finals.

 

This Hungary team look pretty good. I wouldn't fancy England's chances against them.
