They keep gambling on that Express Himself and he keeps blowing the start but they at least got a run for their money today as he finished late but just got caught by the even later Gabrial’s Kaka. The front two went off like scolded cats and set the race up for late finishers but Treasury Notes ran out of steam coming up the inside rail before the final furlong.

Might as well have had a bet as Ascot... :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Should have followed Toppy - well done!

If they didn't throw out Fran Berry yesterday what are the chances of them throwing out the Queens horse at Royal Ascot? Hghland Reel just seemed to duck in rather than go past, strange for such an experienced horse.

One in the last at Royal Ascot- Cayirli e/w 40/1.

Seems like he wants a marathon trip and gets it today, hopefully a patient Timmy ride can see him come home strongly.

I thought Heffernan was extremely generous in the enquiry. Despite being a commercial outfit I think Coolmore are a sporting lot and you could almost imagine they whispered in Heffernan's ear. Not that Dartmouth should have lost it. But soon as he said he didn't have to stop riding EOS.

What about the Leger last year where O'Donoghue absolutely tore Atzeni to shreds!

That's the contrast. Most jockeys would do what O'Donoghue did as you are there to win the race.

Maybe they are a sporting lot when it's the Queen.!!!!
