    Without wanting to sound bitter, the books would've done better if the people who'd read and enjoyed them had reviewed them. I'm not going to name and shame, but if they spent less time soiling couches, and eating fried chicken/watermelon, I could be living a life of excess and debauchery by now :mad:

    Not so much the national tendency towards racism and thuggery. But I admire the don't-give-a-**** attitude, the profound love of the motherland, the capacity to endure any amount of suffering, and the dark humour (imagine if Jesus was Russian. And it was Vodka instead of wine).
