very sensible. I think we have a nice run aorund the time of christmas and the run in and without europe the only moan is the first few games... I'd deffo take that.
Have requested 2nd game is played ag Burnley not anfield apparently to give extra time to sort stadium (even though should be all sorted by then)
I think Burnley will refuse to switch it. IF they did switch it, they would have 4 away games in a row between end of Feb and mid March. With a relegation battle likely, I wouldn't blame them at all.
SO we'll just go to woodison and play it there <whsitle> who gives a toss. frankly if its not ready then main stand has to be closed and the fans reimbursed.
We don't play a single big club between the United game and the city game on new years. Tough start but there are some good runs we could make.
How? We all play thirty eight mate, or are you suggesting we should be allowed to play League Two sides but remain in the PL?
I get the we have to play all the games anyway stuff but I do feel sequence and timing has a big impact. Our christmas period is a nice schedule IMO. Both games after christmas day are at home. ok one is city but.. its at home. in our run in (last 10) only city again at the 10th last game then everyone else is everton, southampton, west ham and lower sides... only one big top 4 side. thats pretty ok. again we spurs, arsenal and cheslea early enough away which can hurt of course... but having them more at home when the chips are down can help... if LFC are totally focused on league that coudl be a small help.
