Ah The Royal Hunt Cup ......................... one of the reasons I love flat racing Been trying to make anagrams from it but haven't got much further than The Royal **** - Hup!
Anamba will be my lucky dip pick in the last. Run lto looks very good. She beat colts and elders on her seasonal debut. Hasanour was beaten 2 lengths and that one has just run very well for a long way in the Hunt Cup. Halford can pick something for the big occasion. 8/1 will do for me.
Ah well can't win them all. 2 seconds and a winner, not too shabby. Roll on tomorrow! 4/4 for me with My Dream Boat now, god i love that horse. So pleased for Kirby too, what a fantastic week he's having and no jockey deserves it more. Cox is having an amazing season too
Having had a rare day of not backing FOUND absolutely delighted to see she got chinned today! I'd a been pretty pissed to have missed her at 4s. 'Another second for Found ' indeed Well done all winners on the forum today. I hear the Yank 2yo was a flying machine.
Thanks She is a real arsechaser, was great value today though with the solid case against the fav, didnt see the winner coming.
Was that the worst Prince Of Wales' Stakes in living memory Boris? Unthinkable really, in the same season as the worst 2000 Guineas
It wasnt a great renewal but you had two Group 1 horses in Found and A Shin Hikari, the test was unlikely to play to the strengths of A Shin Hikari and Found ending up throwing the race away. The winner seems to be improving but I didnt have him down as a Group 1 horse, the form is nothing special all things considered but it might not have been the worst Prince Of Wales, its way down the list though. Still the worst Guineas ive seen no doubt, all 3 of them, St James Palace was the first good mile race for colts this year but none of them are outstanding.
Ribchester 8/1, didnt come off the snaff, incredible price considering form was miles clear of everything else in the race, undoubtedly the best bet of the day and its all about that LSP. Called the "highest rated horse in the world" spot on as a no hoper, thats why im one of the top judges in Europe 20/1 shot ran well, no chance against the drugged up winner Always Smile ran a blinder, given no chance by Doyle Found ran a blinder, threw it away Very happy with the calls overall today and confident about a few tomorrow, Anamba the only failure today for me
