    Did anyone watch the Toulon tournament?

    There's a reason a fair few clubs are after Redmond, he has a ridiculous amount of potential. I would be very happy if we get him.

    Redmond started at Birmingham and joined Norwich, so 2 clubs I think.

    Not sure if he had loans out to get experience, is possible.

    Id be happy with this signing if it happens, always liked him and think his next couple of years will see him progress.

    Deal of the week thus far has to be Laporte rejecting Manchester City where he would be earning about 70% more than the new contract he has negotiated with Athletic, a deal IMO that benefits both him and Athletic as the relase clasue has gone above 50 million. Hopefully, Athletic can keep all their stars and set about winning the Europa League.

    So what happened to ...."in Les we trust" etc? Does that not apply here?..........At 22 he is still learning the trade . If he does as well as Long I think he could be useful...........

    We have all the time in the world. Southampton aren't going anywhere...obviously we have got used to doing well, but there may be seasons where we drop the odd place and have to live with it. A drop in league position won't mean inevitable decline and fall. Slowly, slowly, catchee monkey. Have to stick to our values and hope KL doesn't want to cash in.

    I see there are rumours of Pelle to Chelsea again on NewsNow.

    An obvious link to make (up) but thinking about it does this actually make sense? He could be a good option for Conte as a 2nd/3rd striker. Big pay raise, manager he respects etc.

    London location as well. It certainly makes more sense than China.
    I guess it's how he feels physically. He will know he won't be first choice, but if he thinks playing week in week out is not likely to be a great option and Chelsea are genuinely interested then it's a no brainer

    The constant knee problems that he suffers may put Conte off as being his international coach he will have full knowledge of his medical records that other less thorough clubs might not
