great performance by Tepin though - can't believe she went off at 11/2!

That was a mighty performance from the wrong side of the track. Unbelievable.

Two races and two very serious race horses. The first Tepin had so many reasons that she should not win and yet did so whilst the last Ballydoyle winner won despite racing on the wrong side.

I think that could be a big clue with regard up and coming races as the far side looked well ahead.

That was pretty impressive. Having not run beyond 5f and having to face 6f on soft ground; then to come from behind to win his race, only to find there was another race on the other side of the course (that must have started earlier) and win that one as well. Amazing.

Another top notcher. Profitable is a superb horse. Ran on ground he doesn't really like and still won it cosy enough.

Lovely for Kirby. Great moment. Just had a baby boy a few hours ago for those not able to catch it.

Great interview with Adam Kirby - it's what the sport and any sport is really about.

Fabulous day for Adam, one of my colleagues knows his family well and I used to go drinking with his younger brother!

I really think Awtaad is a very fair price at 9/4

Mecca's Angel very disappointing. What went wrong there?
Profitable beaten 10l by Mecca's Angel less than a year ago (with Cotai Glory further back) . Just beat him last month. Slaughters him today. But form is strange as, today, Profitable just held off Cotai Glory, who he beat by 4½l about 6 weeks ago. Maybe Cotai Glory is the one to watch

I think he is underrated - in a sport where the jockeys role is to first and foremost allow the horse the best chance of winning he keeps things simple and does just that, pretty strong in a finish as well. I think he was not given a proper chance when riding the Postponed horses for Cumani and when Atzeni took over and won the King George I think it reflected on Adam in a way that was quite undeserved. I would have no problem putting him up in any Group 1 race.

One has to wonder whether, if Caravaggio had run in the Kings Stand (which of course he couldn't), he might well, with wfa, have won it.

A rare poor decision by Ryan Moore? Got badly stopped there, always the danger of trying to come late on that ground.

Awtaad way too keen early on.
A shocker of a ride on the gurka.
Fair play to Dettori on a great ride.
I couldn't see him winning again if they met again.
