Hull City announce pre-season fixtures ahead of Premier League return please log in to view this image HULL City have announced a busy schedule of six pre-season friendlies as they gear up for the club's Premier League return in August. Just 48 days after winning promotion in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, the Tigers have confirmed the build-up to a new season back in the top-flight will begin with a short trip to Grimsby Town on Friday 15 July. The traditional date with near neighbours North Ferriby United follows the next day before City travel to League Two side Mansfield Town on Tuesday 19 July and then face League One opposition in Scunthorpe United on Saturday 23 July. City then sharpen up against two Championship sides when heading to Barnsley on Tuesday 26 July and Nottingham Forest on Saturday 30 July. Further friendlies are set to be announced in due course with a two-week window to fill before the Premier League season gets underway on Saturday 13 August. City, who have travelled to Portugal, Germany and Austria in recent years, are expected to head overseas following their date with Nottingham Forest but no details have yet been forthcoming. Steve Bruce and his squad are scheduled to return to pre-season training three weeks from today, jetting straight off to the Algarve for a warm-weather training camp between July 5 and 14. City's Premier League fixtures will be announced at 9am on Wednesday. CITY'S PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE -all away from home- because.. we can't sell tickets / no ticket office / waiting for an XP upgrade on the 'mainframe' for the computer system strawberry PR are working on a new 2 year -re-launch of 'friendlies' the member-**** scheme would not cope Elhab is ruining his horses on the pitch again They've sold the stadium as part of a deal with selling the Humber Bridge ...
We usually have the majority of our pre season away from the KC. The last pre season game we had at the KC was Andy Dawson's testimonial, the 3-0 win over Real Betis back in 2013. And that was the only pre season game at the KC that year too.
http://mobile.mansfieldtown.net/new...-premier-league-club-in-friendly-3141680.aspx Mansfield Town have announced that they're playing some Sunday league team called 'Hull City Tigers'. FFS don't encourage them!
Their error has been pointed out to them, hopefully they'll rectify it before the poor YTS kid who handles their social media sites get too much abuse.
Not really. It will be juniors, reserves, stiffs and fringe players. They won't really regarded as friendlies, which will probably be abroad as usual.
My point was that they're already entertaining Newcastle, they'll have no interest in having two Premier League teams at their place and we don't do home friendlies.
Good thing Newcastle aren't in the PL. Considering their tweet to the club during the Play-Offs where they pretty openly reminded the club that they wanted a friendly tells me they'd be pretty keen.
