I don't think any of this really matters, everyone we've been linked with so far (other than Pennock's potential signing of Mannion) is almost certainly made up.
How many pages and posts did we get to last season before we signed someone? Reckon we'll smash that this season if you don't class Pennock's potential youth signings
And If DMD, keeps the pages ticking over in defence of his stolid arguments on above same said topic.
Brady is pacy, don't see how you can argue that he isn't. I'd happily have him back as he's a very good winger and brilliant cover at LB as well. Proper cover for Robertson is one of our biggest priorities.
Watching the Ireland game (which Brady is playing in of course) and Hendrick is having a good game, definitely worth looking at when we get ownership and management sorted
I'd play him ahead of Robertson if he came back . Hendrick for Ireland is great, not sure how old he is but he was fantastic at the KC too, got Prem class written all over him if we went for him
To be honest, he looked very slow and nowhere the quality of Steven Davis (the guy who plays for Southampton)- I almost thought they could have done with Corry Evans on the pitch to give them a bit of energy
I think at his age he would jump at the chance of another go in the top flight if someone came in for him.
Not impressed. A number of times he didn't manage to pick up a man. He failed to challenge one of the Poles involved in the build up to their goal. He seemed lost at times.
Hendrick looks the real deal. He's only 24, big (6' 1), strong, gets stuck in and has a wicked shot (that piledriver from 25 yards out that hit the bar today was really moving. He's on a 4-year contract with Derby through next season but is the type of player we need in center mid-field (O'Neill rates him ahead of Meyler). And he's probably available at less than half Hughes asking price. As for Brady, also 24, he had a great game today and is a much improved player than when he was with us...much more decisive, good speed, would be great cover for Robbo making his forward dashes, and took every corner and FK for Ireland...everyone spot on and nearly brought a couple of goals. And his 30 yarder with his "weak" right foot was a sizzler which just missed. He knows most of the lads, likes Hull, and a great team player. Him playing ahead of Robbo would give us a real attacking threat on the left, and allow Snod to move back to his preferred position on the right, with Elmo possibly going to Turkey according to KingFut. I'd make both of them priority signings.
Hernandez linked to Watford and Roma: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...nsfer-target/story-29397903-detail/story.html I'm surprised we haven't opened negotiations with him to offer a new and improved 3 year deal. If nothing else it at least improves the value we'd get for him, and locks him in for an additional year. I think he'll play a big part in keeping us up.
