I'm coping with it as Spurlock has been on a Stan like fest recently. Just look at the stats! Stan is more popular than ever. Hence the knighthood.

It's quite telling that you highlight every time someone likes one of your posts. Let's reconvene next week.

HIAG is very insecure about likes. When somebody likes a post that takes the piss out of him it causes him to act like a little schoolgirl experiencing her first period.

No idea really. HIAG often gets hysterical about minor matters. Sometimes he threatens to call the police, other times he threatens to sue. A while back he got hysterical about the lads not liking his posts (despite the effort he puts into them).

I'm sure all of that 'adoring pussy' he gets when he's pretending to play a gig makes up for the rejection he gets from 'all the lads' on here.

But it only went wrong after the gooner was introduced to the mix and he decided that we didn't need to retain possession any more

Harold didn't have his best game in all fairness and the one thing he lacks (genuine pace) played into the hands of the aged and cumbersome centre backs who dealt with him 'effectively' ...obviously I'm biased but found myself spitting feathers that Woy didn't let Vardy have a run out ... the two ginats would likely have been booked or we'd have got a penalty through Vardy's sheer pace ..

Instead he brings Wilshire on for Rooney ... and the pundits and ex-players have been raving about what a 'terrific' game Wayne had and how he is the enw Platinin etc <laugh> ... that Russina side is absolute carp ... of all the games so far only the Northern Oirish look poorer - no real surprise there given what they have to pad the side out with ..

France, Germany, Croatia, and the Ukraine all look very good - yes I think each can be exposed in certain areas but ffs don't get carried away at narrowly not beating a bunch of ageing journeymen <doh> .

Harry should start against Wales btw ...despite the press hysteria we didn't actually help his game that much ...

Spot on Kane, should have been withdrawn after about 55 mins and Vardy (or Sturridge or Rashford) should have been bought on to offer a new threat. Personally I thought Harrys movement was good in the first half making space that Lallana and Alli should have made better use of. It should also be noted that when offered his only real site of goal (albeit from an offside position) he finished clinically. As for Rooney I thought he did well and personally I would have withdrawn Alli and not Rooney, and I thought Wilshere was the correct choice of sub given his usual ability to pass and retain the ball, but he did neither on Saturday.

Kane was ****, and should have been hooked.

    Woy hasn't got a clue

The taffs will probably do us on Thursday and we'll have to beat Slovakia to progress.

Yeah, I agree. TBH, Kane looks tired after playing in virtually every game for us last season. Vardy's pace could well have given the Russians problems. Especially as they had to come forward looking for a goal.

But Woy was holding out for 1-0 and it blew up in his face!...

Vardy destroyed the Swans defence at theirs this season... Ashley Williams would hate the prospect of marking him ... whilst Mahrez scored the 3 goals Vardy had a hand in each and put the third on a plate for Mahrez ... ...problem is that even if Vards got a start it would likely be out wide knowing clueless Woy ...

  15. The Gooners are going to cost England the Euros. Jack Wheelchair shouldn't even be there.

We can't play Russia again, it's not how the Euro's work. I know it's been a while since you got to one of these big tournaments so might not be too familiar with the rules luv <whistle>

On a serious note, problem with Vardy for England is, England don't play like Leicester. Vardy is best running behind the defence, but England try play nice passing boring slow football allowing teams to sit deep and get 10 men behind the ball. I don't think he'll be anywhere near as successful for England as he has been for Leicester, and it's the same reason why if he went to Arsenal he'll struggle to hit double figures I think.
