    Goodwood 9.00
I can't see Nisser getting beat in the last at Goodwood. He finished sixth in a 0-105 race at Newmarket in May. He was third lto off this mark but didn't get the clearest of passages.

    York 4.50
Sign of a victory continues his flat career at York but he didn't seem to have any change of gears to get himself out of trouble last time at Ascot (he has Spencer aboard so he will be in trouble). I shall be taking him on with Rite To Reign who ran well to finish third beating some useful stayers like Grumeti and Matorico.

    Chepsow 6.20
    Dubka
ran on well at the finish in his only start which suggests this step up in trip should suit. With a top yard and should be progressive.

    Clonmel 7.45
I going to try to follow some of the horses that Gigginstown have taken from Tony Martin in the hope that they may be well handicapped. Beau Et Sublime starts out for Gordon Elliott in a Beginners Chase. He won a maiden at Rosscommon before run reasonable races in two handicaps. He should appreciate today's ground and trip more than his market rivals.

Basically one of the owners said a couple of months back that they are waiting for good/goodtofirm ground for him and it will win next time out and it's very highly thought of and all that, ( some of the maidens it was not that far beaten in by horses have gone on to be rated in the 90s, even twin sails is in the 100s ). Anyway, the last 4-5 time it's been entered it's ended up not running, always because of the going as it always ends up being soft / good-to-soft. Now to cut a long story short, it changed owner at the end of april, and Clive Cox's wife now owns it and not the same owner we spoke too. So i don't have a clue now what's going on with it, is it really just been a ground issue, or is it something more and has it had some niggles as it's now running in a class 5 race with a different owner.

For me, I've been waiting for the ****er to run for about 4 months, so hopefully it doesn't pull out, hopefully it goes in the stalls, hopefully it comes out the stalls, and win or lose i've had my £50 to win on it and i can stop looking out for it, or having to back it ever again, and hopefully it will win. But now, honestly? I don't have a clue. It's very strange, well thought of > constantly pulled out of races because of the going ( is it really just the going? or are they really expecting it to win next time out and haven't wanted to run it on any ground that might damage it's chances), why has Clive Cox's wife bought it at the end of April?

There's so many questions about this horse, as i said I hope it just runs, and if it loses we know it's just pretty ****ing **** or has had problems, and if it wins then it's even more mysterious, but i'll take my winnings and will be removing it from my tracker <laugh>

So yeh there's the story. I can't really post here now and say yeh it's expected to win etc like the other month because that's a lie as it's now changed owner, but it was expected to win next time out 2 months ago, but who knows what's gone on.

But for all the fuss and all the farce, just have a 5er at 12/1 just incase <laugh> and Clive Cox is in such good form this season

20s lol drifting like a bargepole. Can just see it today finishing 5th/6th having not been whipped, then running in 2 weeks time and winning a race by 3-4 lengths @ about 7/1 after some support.

Has to be Wales form me......I'll get my coat <laugh>
The first time they've qualified for anything in my lifetime <cheers>

    Football Trivia Question?
The last time Wales qualified for the finals of a major tournament was the 1958 World Cup played in Sweeden, the year before I was born!
Which player scored his 1st. international goal against Wales in the 1/4 finals, the only goal of the match <steam>, becoming the youngest ever World Cup goalscorer @ 17 years and 239 days?

Nah, I always remember when Norman Whiteside scored that World Cup goal and they were all going mad and saying how he'd broken Pele's record <ok>

Wales put up a good performance in the '58 final and only lost to Brazil 1-0 in the Quarter Final. They were unlucky as they were without their greatest player (probably the greatest ever Welsh footballer) John Charles.

    York
    3.30 Zamperini 12-1 EW

Master Of Irony should be a tough nut to crack but this is the value in the race in my view.
