Must be great being Roland ,take over Charlton knowing we have an excellent academy .
Looking as the youngsters play and seeing ££££'s .
Pope almost gone ,Cousins going ,Lookman can't be far behind.
Sod the first team as long as I can sell off the kids I'm happy is the Roland way.
Katriene of course thinks that we should be happy to see the kids develop play a handful of games in the first team then be sold on for us to have the added pleasure of watching them play in the prem for someone else.
Yep Roland must be looking forward to a summer of selling .

He has to find some way to pay the £1.8m Naby Sarr cost. Whatever he gets for Pope will be a lot less than he would have been worth after another season in the Championship if Roland hadn't taken us down to L1. Let's see how long Slade's optimistic outlook lasts.

Sad really. Difficult to have any affinity with any of the youngsters when they're barely with us long and get sold for pittance.

So that's half Naby Sarr's fee. Who will pay the other half?

Hendo appears to be nailed on to leave - unless Slade see's things differently, so selling Pope too would be self destructive.

I don't think you can really believe what one of those stupid Twitter accounts say. Normally run by basement dwelling virgins.

Super, when has that ever affected the decision making process at the Valley? Every time they do something, it seems to put rocks in our path for further up the line. Sell the core of the team? Yes, it will pay for the exciting youngsters we have who will set the world alight in league 1. This really is turning into a fun summer!!

But they have accepted a second bid from Burnley. It is up to Pope whether he goes or not.
I believe that any player, they get a decent bid for, will go. I don't believe Slade when he says no player will be sold on the cheap. RD and Meire will do as they please.
I think that Pope, Henderson, Baeur, Texeira, Gudmundsson, Lookman, Vetokele, Cousins and Watt will all be sold.
I think we will bring in a mixture of journeyman players and youngsters that have played 22 games in three years.
Good luck Russell, you will need it with this regime.

We have a keeper on loan in Hungary too, don't we? Though early noises suggest all that deadwood will be moved in (ahem).

It would not surprise me to see Dillon Phillips between the sticks next season. 21 years old, just signed a two year contract(I think), had a great season last year at Cheltenham....

Talking of which, have you seen Colin's priceless gem that it doesn't matter if Pope AND Henderson leave, as "we still have THREE very good keepers at the club". Would that be Mitov, Marko and Dillon Phillips?

Don't think LB has said if Pope has agreed to go, bearing in mind his liking for first-team football.

The answer FHB was to Supers question " has there been an official bid and accepted". The answer to both these questions is yes.
