    What would your team be?

    For me

    -----------------------Hart-----------------------
    Clyne-----Cahill---Smalling------Rose
    -------------Henderson--Dier--------------
    ------------------------Alli------------------------
    ----Sterling-------Kane---------Vardy----

Can easily flip to a 4-4-2 with Alli going left and Vardy going up next to Kane. Could even put Henderson right and swa Sterling over to the left.

    Rooney??? Nope

Id swap Sterling with Lallana. Im not sure about Hendo either but we havent got many more options. Id he tempted to play Rooney there as a central mid. I thought he played that role well in the FA Cup final.

    Walker -- Smalling -- Cahill -- Rose
    --------------------------Dier
    ----------------Rooney -- Milner
    ---------------------------Alli
    --------------------Kane -- Vardy

I'd like to see us try something like that, Alli in a no. 10 role behind them 2 could be very exciting to watch.

I would definitely drop and never mention Wooney and Wose.

I would also fwee woderick; and not talk about dodgy fwee kicks, wefereeing, wunning the lines or wough tactics by the Wussians.

Too many people trying to shoe-horn Kane and Vardy in imo, which means either playing two up top (not a good system), or forcing Vardy wide (pointless).

I know that's not what Woy will do, but I think it's probably the best team we have. Not a huge fan of either Sterling or Lallana tbh, but I think they're the best wide options we have.

Why play a system with wide forward players when the squad Roys selected has a huge lack of this type of player, only Sterling that is a genuine winger in the whole squad really.

What about Rooney wide? He's better than Lallana or Sterling

It's not hard to understand fella, if I've picked the team then I've also picked the squad. The OP hasn't mentioned anything about the current squad or Euros.......or have I missed something?

Thats what I said at work. Didn't go down too well but to me it would stop Kane and Vardy being pushed out of position by Rooney pushing up from behind. That's if Vardy and Kane both start.

I think we already are shuffling the team around because Roy hasn't picked the best players for each position. We have to play a pretty compact midfield and let the fullbacks do the width. Sterling is the only wide man in the squad really

Heaven forbid England's top scorer plays in an attacking role!

If we need a goal, NEED, there's nobody I'd back more than our captain.

He'll never, ever be a winger or a wide player.

I wouldn't be surprised if Woy starts with Rooney and Sturridge up front in the first game to get rid of the nerves.

Ha probably not but I think Roy has messed up with the squad a bit.

Swap Wiltshire and sterling for Drinkwater and Townsend and it might be close to what Roy goes for.
