I'm curious to see the reaction of the City fans, who stuck by the Allams through all this, if Bruce was to leave.
What is the situation with Assem? He is key to both the generator and football business moving forward; if he has left both for good then both need to replace his input, it cannot all fall on Ehab. There is also the view of the family to consider (I believe Ehab was taking time to listen to that) and whether or not they what themselves and their children running further risk of vilification in the local area. I think if the right offer comes along, the Allams will be gone like a shot. Whether or not an offer comes along is another matter, but I can certainly understand why supporters are interested, as it was the owners who put their business into the public domain for the supporters to have knowledge of. Bruce clearly wants to work, as it appears to be all about how much money they will give him to waste. He'll work here, as no one else will offer him anything worthy; although working directly to Ehab might be an issue.
The US consortium had a deal in place for whether or not we were promoted so I don't think it would have been them.
If Ehab wanted a 'great way to network' I think he might have attended a few more games don't you ? If Steve Bruce was on the job market this morning there would be a queue of clubs for his signature. Has any other English manager currently available got a better CV then Steve Bruce ? FFS, SB has just took us up to the Premier League for the 2nd time and you claim he has 'nowhere else to go' You couldn't make it up, have you considered sending your stuff to Viz?
If I was in discussions to buy Hull City, I would probably want a comprehensive and watertight "Shut the **** up Ehab" clause inserted In the heads of terms.
I know this is probably bollocks and it doesn't say anything new really just about Bruce staying. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/06/0...tay-on-at-hull-city-with-transfer-plans-und/?
Is there going to be any Zombies in this thread? I just feel there should be a "later" inserted somewhere in the title!
That quotes the mirror. Who are usually right on Hull City. Not that I have seen the mirror itself to see if it's accurately quoted. I'd believe it more if it was, but surprised it's not been picked up wider if it's hit a Daily.
Weren't grigg and Chester made up targets from HITC, which was quoted by HDM, which was quoted by the mirror? It's stupid how circular it becomes.
Another day another transfer 'target'. Add Norwood to the list. Replay with Burnley added to the list of interested clubs.
People have said for years that The Mirror are usually right about City and for years I've asked what this is based on. Don't think I've ever seen anything to help me understand why they have that reputation.
They usually have the story first. Whether it's right is debatable. But they have had the transfer news before anyone else several times. Has any left wing muppet had chance to read the relevant page today? I can't face the rag and it's editorial stance. My gut feeling is he story is about right.
I saw it said it was a Mirror quote. I searced for it in the Mirror and couldn't find any reference to it.
So it wasn't on page 53? Which may explain why no one else had picked up on the story. There are loads of websites that recycle gossip for page hits and advertising so it's weird this story is a one website hit quoting another paper. Odd
This sounds positive: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-City-cost-buyer-100m/story-29371712-detail/story.html
