Booooom Harzand! Just wish i had more than £10 on the double, beautiful horse and well done to Smullen and Weld well overdue and fully deserved.

Was funny, i was in the bookies and it came up no horse with an SP of bigger than 7/1 had won the derby since 2000, and Harzand was 15/2, i was praying for it to go into 7/1 <laugh> then it went to 13/2 before the off and i was like yeh that seals it

Top tipping as per usual Chelsea. should've entered the Saturday comp, think you'd have had a chance with those two.

Well done to those that were on Harzand.

The runner-up hung in on the camber, so which would you want to be on if they met again?

I will get it in the neck on Monday as my gaffer’s brother told us all to do it on Wednesday at 16/1 and I never had a penny on. He had it at 33/1 ages ago.

We'll get the rematch at the Curragh next month won't we? Pretty sure I know who'll come out on top next time but I'd stand by my pre race views it's a very poor renewal. What price the winner, or runner-up for the Arc? Longer than yesterday's filly I'd bet.

Ive seen worse Derbys I think, better winners obviously, but it wasnt an easy race to win.

I'd be surprised if the winner doesn't finish in front again at The Curragh and beyond.

I have often posted that Weld is peerless in the training stakes. His placing, ambition and imagination is impressive.

Another blow out for Goldolphin and I find it staggering that their hapless chief bloodstock advisor has actually been promoted to oversee the entire operation..cheque book out yet again no doubt to mitigate the breeding and auction failures..even that has become a joke.

Very satisfactory result for the shrewd and ultimately good guys of racing.

Would of at least placed there I think if it wasn't for defrocked taking half the field out there. Was just starting to make his move and the gap appeared.

I thought he deserved the win, ran strongly throughout and stayed on, gamely.

    Thank you, though <ok>

Kimberella was a certainty beat, Caspian Prince has been a good sprinter and of course he deserves to win races like that but was a fortunate winner today.
