Copa America kicked off tonight with Columbia topping USA 2-0. Are these matches televised in the UK? The match was one which reflected the 3rd ranked team in the world playing the 31st. The USA is sorely lacking in creativity in the offensive half, and many fans believe our best midfielders are left riding the pine.

The best match tomorrow (Saturday) is Brazil v Equador. Sunday features Mexico v Uruguay, while Monday's best match is Argentina v Chili (ranked 1 and 5 respectively by FIFA).

What are the chances Hernandez will get game time?

Can't seeing him starting unless they have injuries, with Cavani and Suarez in the squad they must be nailed on starters.

More meant off the bench, we get the games over here on Bein so wouldn't mind tuning in to see him!

Pulisic needs to start. I dont care if he is only 17. They are trying to ease someone in who plays for borussia dortmund? I mean are they afraid he will play down to the MLS level or something?

Nagbe also needs to start it just makes no sense to leave your 2 most creative players on the bench. I know they are both young and they have only 2 national team appearances to their credit but they really need to be on the pitch.

You're singin' my tune, Ellewoods. Not only is Nagbe a more creative midfielder than most of the others, but he's a physical presence who won't be intimidated by the aggressive South American style of football. When pressed, he can carry the ball out of trouble, while the others will try to pass the ball out of trouble and likely turn the ball over. Jekyll and Hyde Bradley was Hyde last night, looking lost most of the night. Dempsey created chances but he's the Lone friggin' Ranger out there. Jones, Nagbe, and Pulisic need to start.

Costa Rica has a decent squad and the USA needs a win. A draw there probably ends our hopes of advancing out of group play.

I think the problem with Bradley is his position was to deep. Klinsmann has been getting a ton of pressure to play Bradley in his favorite position when his best position for the team is farther up field. Its all people like Alexi Lalas can talk about and I think Klinsmann is finally starting to feel the pressure and put him in a deeper role. Now If he got Pulisic or Nagbe on the field who are creative maybe it wouldnt look so bad but I thought yesterday looked really poor.

Mexico vs Uruguay starts in an hour and a half. It should be a really good game and Suarez is not supposed to be playing so this means that Hernandez might feature at some point in the game or start depending on the formation. Some formations have Cavani and Hernandez playing together some have Hernandez on the bench.

He might start. Suarez is injured and isnt supposed to be playing against Mexico today.

They just put out the lineup and they are starting Rolan who plays for Bordeaux instead of Hernandez.

Uruguay paying 3.30, thought I'd give it a go.

    That's a bit annoying.

Yea considering that he only scored 9 goals this season. They must not think that much of Hernandez.

Which is odd because Hernandez has a good record with Uruguay.

He does. Maybe they just think Rolan plays better with Cavani. I personally think Mexico will win this game.

Uruguay is probably the safe bet but Mexico is a lot better than they get credit for. They havent given up a goal since 2015 in something like 770 min and haven't lost a game in 19 games. If they play like I have seen them the last few games they will win the tournament.

Mexico up 1-0 3 min in. Looked like an own goal but Hernandez might have scored it.
