Nice sentiments, but a couple of pieces of complete ****e in there.

"Almost everyone who was at Wembley on Saturday came away talking more about what they saw off the pitch rather than on it."

"Your backing all season was unrivalled"

They really do seem to think they won, don't they?

Someone needs to tell them games are decided by goals scored.

    1-0 to the empty seats

Getting boring now isnt it? Its like the old Republic of Ireland thing where every single tournament they talk about the fans until Roy Keane went ballistic on tv saying "I think the players and supporters have to change their mentality. It's just nonsense to say how great the supporters are. The supporters want to see the players do a lot better and not give daft goals away like that. Let's change that attitude towards Irish supporters. Let's not kid ourselves, they want to see their team winning, Let's not just go along for the sing-song now and again."

It wouldn't be so bad if they were like that every week. If they had, according to some, 45,000 supporters at Wembley & only 20,000 turn up week in week out, then their support is ****ing ****.

    I doubt it
One of their players might be involved in an international match, so it would be impossible

If you weren't happy with the empty seats you should have maybe bought a ticket. Personally I'm glad we didn't fill it. In different circumstances we would have & have done previously.

They have 20,000 empty seats at each home game yet can gather 45,000 for a day trip to the smoke. Their support is ****ing ****, no further discussion needed.

How many of the 40k were first timers?...How many of the 40k will turn up on a cold windy winter night to watch Wendies vs Wigan when Wednesday are hovering around the bottom of the table?
They have got a good solid hardcore of around 20k. But who hasn't..?

That's exactly what chairmen should say. You see it all the time on telly. Every chairman thinks they've got the best fans etc etc. Every player or manager says in interviews that the crowd have been magnificent.

Ehab is of course the exception. He's far too busy and his time is better spent on the much more pressing matter of how best to piss everyone off next.

I agree with the sentiments of what he's said, I just think the two parts I highlighted take it to the point of making him look a little daft.

    Ehab's a ****.

I wonder if Ehab's simply out of his depth and doesn't know what to do from one day to the next? As well as being a **** that is...

Most of the Wendnesday shirts I saw on Saturday still had the fold creases in them where they had just taken them out of the bag. I wonder how many still had the tags on the inside so they could take them back on the Monday.

Just maybe, Ehab has other more important matters on his mind right now than writing a thank you letter to a bunch of arseholes who booed him at Wembley when he held the cup.

I walked out of Wembley on Saturday and two Sheff Weds fans walked towards me and said " what about your support mate , embarrassing " , i simply replied " its won and lost on the pitch mate" , brief conversation over.
