Does anyone know if he's having the medical today? If so do you know the time?

    <whistle> Gracias!

No worries mate, I could do with some good news after all that's happening with Nando.

This has to be the worst season ever for me as a Liverpool fan!! Lol!

I just hope it's sooner rather than later. At least then we'll be sure of the deal. Would like at least one decent striker in the squad come monday night.

  5. He's having it today, apparently he was seen driven into Melwood around 10am. Hope he'll be ready for Stoke

Suarez can't play in the Europa League and Torres leaving will mean we'll have to play Ngog up front, as we don't really have anyone else, atm. That's an even bigger disadvantage, this'll weaken our chances of winning it big time.

Why can't he? It's been confirmed that Torres would be able to play in CL, despite playing in EL, so it doesn't work vice versa? Ajax haven't dropped into the EL have they?

Yeah, they finished 3rd in their group, so I'm not sure the rule applies unfortunately.

He can't play unfortunately but the Europa league isn't a huge concern right now. he's available for league games which is fine by me

Because Ajax are now in the Europe League. It works the other way because a team that started in the Europa can't suddenly find themselves playing in the CL.

Doesn't matter that he's not kicked a ball for Ajax in the Europa. He's still cup tied.

I'd rather we give him the number nine, whether Torres goes or not. *Don't know if it's even legal to do it if Torres is still here, but that's what I'd like to see.

Save the number 9 for someone in the summer... ;-) we need at least two more good strikers to build our squad up...

If Torres goes we'll be back to two, Suarez and N'gog (Even Babel was being classed as a striker to make it look good)

I'd go for Nilmar in the summer from Villareal and give him the number 9 ;-)
