To be fair, they don't have such a ****ish set of owners or massive swathes of self-centered arsecunts in their fanbase.
What has happened to the Ticket Office at the KC? It seems as if it might be easier to SPLIT THE ATOM, then purchase a ticket for HULL CITY next season.
It now a customer service centre, or something of that ilk, though it's not actually offering the service that most want.
If they intend to make it difficult for a punter to buy a ticket, then I might decide to kick it into touch.. The club seems to be run by people who don't want fans to turn up...
In fairness the club statement helpfully posted on this thread by OLM is quite clear. However the advice from the "membership team" is in my experience appalling. Particularly this morning when I was given only one option i.e. ring back on Thursday and join the lottery with no guarantee that my seat won't be snapped up before I get through. On a previous occasion I was told when ringing after the semi final away leg that I shouldn't worry about my West UPR seat as we were likely going to be promoted anyway! When asked how to complain I was given the ticketmaster web address for the Wembley tickets! In turns out in fact that seats can be renewed by giving back the renewal form to KC stadium reception before Thursday or by phone or on line on Thursday. I suppose we should be grateful that the membership team at least speak the same language even if they don't know what they're talking about....
Just as a PS.. I finally got through to the 'membership team' after several calls and waiting for approx. 20mins to be told I'll have to call back on 9th June to try and purchase a ticket.. As I didn't renew last season that's fair enough and acceptable, However, the customer service is worse than third rate, therefore I'm considering not bothering until a more professional regime takes over the club....Never thought I'd say it and it hurts me but City are going backwards when it comes to their customer service. Closing the ticket office, what's all that about!
Closing the ticket office was one of the most ****ing stupid ideas they ever had, it is genuinely up there with the name change and membership in terms of 'how to **** up a football club'.
Just spoken to a business contact up in Middlesbrough, told him Hull City have closed their ticket office.. Next thing I heard was a loud 'thump' ........It was him falling off his seat!
Just been down to KC and "club reception" where you can hand in your application is not the location signed KC reception (not part of the football club). However the friendly people in the club shop where happy to accept receipt.
