Not going to keep it going Obi. But Terry G would say to that. We have to protect our other swimming, etc etc and so we wont allow that, we dont need anymore shops we've justbuilt some on Orchard Park. Anyway hope I'm wrong and some blokes willing to splash the cash. But then wont we be in even more debt to an owner??
The Allams will always have my deepest gratitude for delivering the greatest period of success this club and our supporters have ever experienced. They brought in our most successful manager, they brought in the players he wanted and they have built a promising Academy at Hull City. These things will form their legacy when the name change issue is no more than a foot-note. Steve Bruce is a Hull City Hero. He has orchestrated our glory years and created a team which will hopefully form the foundation for a long term stay in the top flight. He is a brilliant Championship manager and we have been very lucky to have him at Hull. But now everyone needs to look to the future, and to climb to the next level we need new owners who can fund that step up while healing the rift with supporters created by the name change issue. We also sadly need a new manager, because for all SB's attributes he can only offer survival at best in the Premier League - We need more than that Steve. So I hope business can be done quickly in time to have a new regime and manager in place at the start of the summer transfer window. This is crucial because any delay that threatens our chances of getting the players in we need could leave us struggling next season. Finally I hope the fans and our owners alike can part with dignity and remember what has mostly been an amazing journey for Hull City.
Steve Bruce finished 10th, 12th and 13th with Brum, 11th with Wigan and 13th with Sunderland. The **** him. Tactically naive and no Plan B. But we certainly need a manager with Champions League credentials at the very least if not a World Cup winning manager.
I'm much more concerned with how utterly **** we were last season, than how he did at Birmingham thirteen years ago.
Only because half the first team were on the bench and if it was a league game he'd have set up to hold the 0-0 anyway. If he does stay and he sets up the same as last season, I'm jacking in aways, they were painful to watch and I can't endure another year of the same.
No, Brady was busy at a meeting with East Hull Allotments Association and Terry ****witt was busy sorting out a problem with a couple of horses that were running around free on Orchard Park.
I don't care what the man proposed- he is a complete and utter cock who gives Hull a bad name with his amateurish ramblings
Don't assume that Geraghty will have any major part in any dealings with prospective new owners. It may be that senior council representatives have already met prospective buyers on more than one occasion.
Don't assume that Geraghty WONT have any major part in any dealings with prospective new owners. It may be that senior council representatives have already met prospective buyers on more than one occasion.
And senior council officers don't talk to Geraghty, especially if its to do with the leisure company?
Councillor Brady has just been interviewed on the Burnsy show, he was positively gushing about City and what promotion meant to the city, about Assem and his investment in the club and how keen he was to facilitate the development of the KC/KCOM.
One thing I've seen little mention of, is just how good promotion is for our City of Culture year, I just hope the club take advantage.
Knowing my luck Humberside County Council rented it from Hull City Council. I may try and find out but google didn't work. You'll get a full apology if I do find out I'm wrong.
