Then like the Naismith scenario We shouldn't persue a player who doesn't want to come here. It will end in failure!

He would be a good player for us, he would score goals and solve a massive problem we have. But, for the money talked about, for a 30 year old who's never played above the Championship. I think it's s lot of money.

In a way, when you think a natural goal scorer could bag us premiership football, you think go for it. But I dunno, feels risky. Plus as you said, if he wants premiership football, we would be an afterthought.

You mean like we did with RvW and Nathan Redmond?

Things don't always go the way you hope!

    No.

RVW Never was established at Championship level, or Played in English football. Plus we signed him for the Premiership. Redmond was a great buy. He's a really good player with massive potential. When he gets played, and in the right way, he's a real threat. If he leaves Norwich this summer, it will be to a Premiership team.

Yes, I read that earlier. Of course he'd go to a PL team if he gets a good enough offer. The question is, will he get that offer? It's certainly possible, most likely from one of the promoted clubs, but it'd be a bit of a gamble considering he is unproven in the PL.

You mean like we've done with Maddison and I think there's a player from Gillingham that we've signed as well.

Yup, Maddison is one. Cody McDonald wasn't one.

Ah yea. Think it was a lad from somewhere like Dartford, as you said. Was he a CB? I remember us signing a CB from non-league.

Whether Redmond is a premier league player or not, we'll still make a big profit on him. We could have had even more if he had more time on his contract.

If you buy washed-up players like Jarvis or Naismith you will only ever move them on on a free transfer.

Chances are, we'll make a profit on Maddison a few years down the line. Buying young players is smart.
