I've never claimed to be #neutral I didn't see much of Klopp's football when I judged him, I correctly #predicted Van Gaal would be ****e based on seeing his World Cup football With Jose I have many years of experience watching him It's going to be a glorious car crash
Yeah... I don't think any manc has a right to come to the LFC board and bullshit without a clear statement on mourinho... for astros collection you see. It took quite a bit to drag support for mourinho out of our resident mancs.
Fair enough, he's a bit of a **** whose managerial track record over the past decade is exceptional. CL with two different clubs. League titles with four different clubs. The intimation seems to be that after less than half a bad season with Chelsea he is now a **** manager. To be fair only Astro has the right to say that as he was equally quick to condemn Klopp after half a bad season. Astro may be clueless and bitter but at least he's consistent with it.
It would be a fairly typical Mourinho signing. It's an interesting one, Ibra still has a little left in the tank even though he is 35 in October He looks after himself pretty well it seems. He would score goals in the prem. and be an asset but it's hardly planning for the future
It did, but I don't think you can compare the two. Big ego's and player clique's were at least part of the problem for Jose at Chelsea. Man U don't want to step in the same turd
Having a player like Zlatan who'd have no fee but huge wages, would be a no brainier for virtually every PL club. United hold the Aces as he's worked with Maureen before and likes him. He's got a season left in the tank imo
I agree he would probably do well, but it would be a short term deal when surely MU need to be building for the medium term (next 4 or 5 years)
I think you can build a side but still add a player or 2 who aren't going to be long term options We tried it last season with Eto'o but Martinez picked Kone ahead of him lol, and he became a terrorist. So that's the risk when you take a player who's profile is at that level but who's body is on the wane I.e. Their ego.
Ibra would fit the big man up front model that mourinho likes, would it stunt the growth of Rashford though or take some pressure off him? Hes es a quality player, but after 3 years in French lesgue where his team pises over everyone and he doesn't have to put much effort in, can he last a whole season in the Prem where he can't just stand around for 80mins?
Rooney's got a guaranteed ambassador job on £100k per day once he retires, it would need to be a big move to tempt him away from that
To be fair he's always been a guy that stands around. Didn't Valdes run more than him in a Champions league tie against Inter in 2010?
Mourinho's record is one of spending huge amounts to get some success, but not actually meeting the club's expectations and then going into total #meltdown So it now depends on what you and your owners expectations are If it's top 4 and a cup for £300m then I think you'll have a good 1.5 seasons, followed by an awful half a season, followed by him leaving
Porto won the CL - exceeded expectations Chelsea won the league for the first time in 50 years - met expectations, probably exceeded them in how quickly he achieved it Inter won the league and CL - exceeded expectations by a freaking mile! Real won La Liga, the only time they've managed it in the last 8 years - met expectations although you could argue that they expected him to win the CL Chelsea 2 won the PL - met expectations Very poor effort Astro!
