Picked up a band from London today and drove them to Leeds. Took seven hours. The M1 was horrible - be warned.

On the 0754 Hull to Kings Cross. Mayhem loads of people standing absolutely packed in like sardines. No chance of anyone getting on at a Brough.
I'm going down the M6, M42 and M40. I'll leave the car at Ickenham and get the train in. I'm just hoping the M6 is clear round Stoke. I will not be paying for the M6 Toll at Birmingham! It's almost as much as a hot dog near Wembley and about as quick.
Posted on other thread I'll post here too. M1 is at a standstill for miles at Lutterworth J20. Get off, turn right on the roundabout and get on the A5 for a few miles, then rejoin m1 at J18. Plain sailing miss the traffic. Edit: queues at J18 roundabout because of bellends trying to jump the queue in the left hand lane by storming down the right lane and people not letting them back in.
Don't get why nobody's mentioned , Hull has it's own train co. And they are using it to get to Wembley. Hopefully they'll have to get it back ...sulking. 'Sheffield Trains plc'? Don't think so.
As I posted it, we came to a crash near Peterborough between two care. Luckily it was quickly cleared.
