That time of night again - tomorrow's selections are

    Brighton
    2.50 Highly Sprung 5-1

A good price to beat Nag's Wag, either could win this but at the prices I will take perhaps the slightly riskier of the two.

    4.20 Glasgow Central 5-2
This one is in great form and will have no problem with the course.

    5.20 Soaring Spirits 10-1 EW
An open race and I will take a chance on this one as I think he will go close.

    Bath
    3.30 Barroche 5-2

Chased home a good winner at Windsor two of his rivals behind, had the worst of the draw that day also but still came out on top.

    Good luck all

    KILRUSH 33/1 Worcester 8:50
Ran a better race than he has for some time at Exeter last month and is dropped another healthy 5lb for his trouble. Only two career wins so hardly a confident shout but could certainly outrun his odds.

Looking forward to seeing MAJORIS, Hugo Palmer hasn't been backward in saying how much he thinks of him.

Michael Bell is not having a good season. His strike rate at the moment is just above 7%. So with some trepidation I put up Clear Evidence in the 4.10 at Haydock. Last on his first start but with reasonable excuses he ran no better on his 2nd. Transferred to Bell from Stoute he has been gelded and his seasonal opener was over an inadequate 7 furlongs. This half-brother to Peacock should be suited by this longer trip.

Round of applause for you Bluesky. You are in a rich vein of form recently and long may it continue. Haven't been able to get on as much as I'd like recently but do manage to keep an eye on selections/results <ok>

Hear, hear, on that STH, great run of form by Bluesky9.

In the last at Worcester (8:50) think I'll have small wins on each and an R/F on Powderonthebonnet and Unify.

Cheers guys - Highly sprung let me down for a fortune today unfortunately.

If you saw the race he won all the way except the final stride :(

It's been a good day even if still a nearly day, so lets see if there is anything for this evening.

    Haydock
    5.45 Darrell Rivers 5-1

Ran well last time and could not quite get there, shows this one is handicapped alright however.

    Pontefract
    7.00 Touch the Sky 5-2

Much better expected last time out, lets not give up just yet, hopefully today will show his true colours.
    8.30 Peloponesse 11-8
Should be too good for these
9.00 Get up and Dance 10-11
Same applies, should be too good Osien Murphy Schlepping from Bath to Ponty for the ride should indicate that even at this short price it is a value bet.

    Speculative rather than confident
    Ponty
    6.30 Lopes Dancer 6-1

    Good luck all

In a year where there is no realistic possibility of beating the Aussies at anything that does not involve rowing a boat or riding a bike, what do you do?

Simples. Invite the Socceroos to Wembley for a meaningless warm up match before Euro 2016.

How come the Aussies are not playing in Euro 2016? They appeared on the Eurovision Song Contest...

FFS QM, do you follow it or what? The Aussies lost 2-1 on aggregate to the Virgin Islands and failed to make it to the Euros this time around <laugh>

Convicts v Virgins? How did the Aussies manage to get 1 – there are surely no virgins there. Some of them might have scored but that would be in the changing rooms.
