The US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has reached the number of delegates needed to secure the party's presidential nomination, Associated Press reports.

Its delegate count has him reaching the quota thanks to a small number of the party's unbound delegates.

They told AP they would support him at July's convention.

Mr Trump, who defeated 16 other Republican contenders, reportedly has 1,238 delegates - one more than needed.

Good. As far as I can tell it's a two horse race between him and Clinton for Presidency and she's significantly less trustworthy than her husband.

I know who I'd vote for, if only because of his stance on re-opening the 9 11 investigation.

She'll wipe the floor with him, according to the 'expert projections'

I'm looking forward to seeing Trump and Bozza side by side, on a windy day.

Worrying the thought of a racist egomaniacal pig like him in charge of the world's biggest nuclear arsenal.

If we vote out of the Eu and Trump becomes president I fear for this country

You know, contrary to what the movies might make people believe... If he told US troops to invade Russia, there's no way they'd do it. There's no way he'd 'nuke' anything either unless it's in retaliation but let's face it, if that happens we won't have much to worry about as we'll all be crusty mush.

Trump only got the Republican Nomination because he was able to get the " Jerry Springer " clan of America out to vote for him . When the 90% of other Americain voters hit the ballot boxes you will see " The Biggest Loser " in the history of Presidencial politics declaring to the Donald " Your Fired ". Guarenteed.

    He's an embarrassment.

I've not heard him say a single thing that I agree with or think is a remotely good idea.

Not much of anything he says that makes sense. He has gone down the classic route of promise them anything to get chosen by the red neck Republicans.

I'm really shocked at the level of ignorance and stupidity of our American friends. How the hell can so many people even consider this dangerous, ignorant buffoon for president?

    Not mine :emoticon-0145-shake

It always bugs me that they weren't there when we called for their help in 1940.

Every time they have trouble, they call us their friends or cousins and we are at their beck and call. Makes me sick.

That was a hell of a long time ago though, and the fact is that they did back us in other ways before they were forced into joining the war properly..

Germany had invaded and occupied just about every country in Europe. We sent them a request for help and they weren't there for us. They should have been there.

    Yes, I hold a long grudge <laugh>

Well it would surprise me not one jot RAW.
I mean lets face facts, they voted Dubya in, not once but twice. <doh>
We are their pit bulls, they call us out when they need us & **** us off when we need them.
We always end up finishing what them ****ers start.
Never hated a country so much as the ****ing USA.
I'd rather suck Jerry Adams cock than deal with them ****s.
****ing hate them. Nowt against the average ham shank but I loathe their foreign policy.
