It was never a free-kick for the Scumwall goal to make it 4-3!!! 773 Addicks attended today, Benson had a good chance clean through on goal but scuffed his shot... Would question our defending and Elliot in goal today, but seems to be a good game attacking football from both teams
Hell of a lot of trainspotters watching this thread and not saying much! Just got in from work apparently Hameurs free kick was a peach!
Full Time 4-3 to the ScumWall... Was a really good game! Wiggins was poor today at defending but great going forward! Roll on next week!! Bournemouth had a good result today 3-1 against the Palarse!!
4 3 to Millwall decent turn out for Dunne,BWP and Jackson doing what they do best score goals. Sets us up nicely for Bournemouth next saturday
Thanks, MW. Not disappointed with this at all. Hope Mr. Dunne enjoyed his day and took home a tidy sum - loyal servant.
yeah credit to both teams and a great day for Alan Dunne, fair play as there is not much oyalty in football these days! really excited for next week now! just please no elliott in goal.
a much improved performance and result from the sounds of things since Parky's XI were shamefully beaten 4-0 two seasons ago
375 wins on the trot? Blimey, call me Rip van Shabby by all means but I must have been asleep for centuries!
I wonder if it would've been deemed shameful if Powell had been in charge and the team finished 13th in the 09/10 season. All worship Powell whatever the result, whatever the league position.
Yes, because Powell is doing such a terrible job after actually building his own team. Beat one championship team and lost to two others by a goal. How dreadful of him...
What a great game today from both sides I must say Racon looks like a gem of a freebie, has a great touch, close control, fights for possession and he also loves to get the ball down and play. Henderson was bought in just for a battering ram role I feel after watching him today. He had a chance to shoot on one occasion but took to long and his opportunity was missed. Darren Purse was at fault for the first two Charlton goals and I hope Robinson is fully fit for next weekend. Today's game was great, Henry and Bouazza scored a cracking free kick each, Marquis scored two and was always lively upfront i.e. chasing pass backs, battling with Charlton defenders and even nearly having a bust up twice As for the season I feel around 14th will be our position as we will win some but lose many as we need a new CB, LM and ST.
Millwall_Adam - who caught your eye for Charlton, really hope this will be a league fixture come 2012-13 Championship season.
Tbh I was mainly watching out for the Wall newbies but BWP for Charlton looks like a real talent and one to watch out for in Lge one. I also thought Johnnie Jackson had a decent game and link up with BWP, I'd say I'm glad Wall never signed him though. No-one else for Charlton really stood out as they played a good team game today and hardly any individuals shone over the team effort. I will say one thing Elliot should not be Charlton's number 1 keeper though
