Cellino still "earning the love" http://www.ballandall.com/tag/massimo-cellino-quotes/ When he said "£15M budget for new players" didn't include the "McCormack money which will be used to buy Elland Road" how many of you believed him? What he didn't say was the £15M budget was spread out over 20 seasons and buying back ER would be in stages - one season ticket at a time
I suggest he does the decent thing and tells Evans where he fits in the clubs plans.... If that means he isn't going to be involved with us pay him off and let him start finding another job.
Why pay an employee off early? He has a contract until a certain date. If in his position, unless I was told my contract would be renewed, Id have a plan B ready as Im sure Evans has.Dont worry about him Glory, hell have earned a nice tidy sum for his efforts and wont be on the breadline. Clearly Cellino hasnt fully made up his mind yet while he explores other potential managers. Surely its a good thing, he got in a decent manager in Evans but wants to see can he get better. Im all for that
Poor cast paddy, poor cast. I know you are not a cnut so are saying this tongue in cheek just to wind me up. it's working.
A decent employer would not wait to see if he could get someone better. If his contract was not being renewed he should be told as soon as possible to give him the opportunity to get other employment.
Yes but Cellino likely doesnt yet know if he is keeping Evans until he checks out who else might be available. Evans already knows thats whats going on so Id assume he has his own plans sorted
Because Evans can't contribute to the planning for next season, when apparently we are going for the playoffs at the very least. So Cellino could get the new man in early to make us look like a professional outfit with a plan to get promoted and it will also have the added bonus of not making Cellino look like a childish vindictive ****
